SecurTek to Diamond Sponsor WFG Continental Cup of Curling

SecurTek Monitoring Solutions announced today that it has partnered with the WFG Continental Cup of Curling, held this week at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, British Columbia.

SecurTek’s investment as a Diamond Sponsor for the international curling competition featuring top world players, is a tribute to achievements made by smaller cities, outside of major centres.

“Penticton’s success in developing it’s capacity to host a major international event like this resonates with our company because we understand the dedication it takes to deliver on the expectations of competitors and the tens thousands of fans who will converge on Penticton this week,” notes SecurTek CEO Barry Rogers. “We know what it takes, because we also operate out of a smaller city.”

SecurTek’s head office is located in Yorkton Saskatchewan, a community that is less than half the size of Greater Penticton. Yet Securtek is physically present in seven Canadian provinces, including British Columbia.

The WFG Continental Cup gets under way Thursday January 10, with Women’s and Men’s finals on Sunday January 13. Game coverage will be provided in Canada by TSN and RDS networks. Next year’s edition of the Cup will be held in Las Vegas. The first ever Continental Cup of Curling was held in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 2002.

Monster Energy to Sponsor MotoGP’s Yamaha Factory Racing

Yamaha Factory Racing has announced a new sponsorship deal with Monster Energy for the 2013 and 2014 MotoGP seasons.

Monster branding will be visible on the YZR-M1s and leathers of Jorge Lorenzo andValentino Rossi as well as team clothing and equipment.

Reigning MotoGP champion Lorenzo – previously backed by rival energy drink Rockstar – has a personal engagement with Monster and Yamaha included in the new agreement. 

Rossi’s existing deal with Monster will be complementary to the new Yamaha deal. 

Monster’s title sponsorship of Tech 3 ‘will remain unchanged and is unaffected’.

The Factory Yamaha team has not had a title sponsor since Fiat left, with Rossi, at the end of 2010.

Sprint Replaces Budweiser as Title Sponsor for Season-Opening Nascar Event

Sprint has secured a deal to replace Budweiser as the sponsor of the season-opening race at Daytona beginning this year and change the name of the event from the Shootout to the Sprint Unlimited, ambulance Sprint and Daytona International Speedway announced Monday.

Sprint, cialis the title sponsor of NASCAR’s top series, has signed a multiyear deal to sponsor the race, which will is set for Feb. 16 at 8 p.m., SBJ reported.

Sprint and Daytona International Speedway have yet to announce the format for this year’s 75-lap race, which features pole winners from the previous year and previous winners of the event. The event will feature some new fan elements, however, including opportunities to serve as Grand Marshal, Honorary starter and trophy presenter.

Anheuser-Busch, which had sponsored the race for years through its Busch and Budweiser brands, is now the sponsor of the Budweiser Duels, replacing longtime sponsor Gatorade. The Duels are twin qualifying races that set the field for the Daytona 500.

Daytona President Joie Chitwood said: “Now more than ever, through our growing partnership with Sprint, The Sprint Unlimited will be the fans’ race,” Chitwood III said in a news release. “Sprint has been a great partner with Daytona and NASCAR, and they continue to raise the bar by engaging race fans in new and innovative ways. We look forward to hearing about additional unique elements for this race in the coming weeks.”

Mars Extends FLW Sponsorship

FLW, the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization has renewed it’s sponsorship of Mars Chocolate North America for the 2013 season.

The Mars Chocolate North America brands that will continue to be featured by FLW include M&M’S and SNICKERS, as well as the addition of the TWIX brand to the stable of Mars anglers.

The brands will be featured across FLW’s multiple platforms, including its tournaments and Expos, multiple websites, FLW Bass Fishing magazine and the “FLW” television show on NBC Sports Network. “FLW” is broadcast Sundays in high-definition (HD) on NBC Sports Network to more than 559 million households worldwide, making it the most widely distributed weekly outdoors-sports television show in the world.

Three of the most consistent anglers on the Walmart FLW Tour will be representing Mars Chocolate North America as brand ambassadors in 2013. Jim Moynagh of Carver, Minn., who finished 2012 ranked third in FLW Angler of The Year standings, will again be representing the M&M’s brand. Chris Baumgardner of Gastonia, N.C., who had two top-10 FLW Tour tournament finishes in 2012, will once again represent Snickers. Jonathan Newton of Rogersville, Ala., will join the Mars team and represent the Twix brand. Newton has more than $530,000 in career winnings in his nine years as an FLW Tour professional.

 

Juventus Energised with New Energy Trade Partnership

Serie A’s Juventus FC  have announced a new partnership with Energy Trade International.

Under the new deal, the company’s logo will be displayed on pitchside LED screens, interview backdrops and across the club’s various communication platforms.

The company, established in 2008, is already at the top of its field for the provision of gas to industrial and civil clients, and will now aim to enhance its image by joining forces with an elite sporting organisation.

Energy Trade International made it’s debut on the weekend, at Juventus Stadium, for the Bianconeri’s clash with Sampdoria.

John Isner to Endorse Anatabloc Supplement
