BMO Harris Bank have announced they will be the title sponsor of the Phoenix Marathon.

The March 1, 2014 marathon is a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon, and is one of the reasons the full marathon is almost sold out five months before the race. Last year’s sold out race had registrants from 15 countries and 49 states.

Blue Diamond Becomes Official Snack Nut of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard

U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association has agreed a new partnership with Blue Diamond Growers, the world’s largest almond processing and marketing company.

Blue Diamond has been named the official snack nut of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. BNP Paribas Renews LTA Deal

Global financial services firm BNP Paribas has announced a renewal in their contract with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in a new four year deal.

The new agreement will see BNP Paribas maintain its status as an Official Sponsor of the LTA, cheap and of the Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club, ed London, in a partnership which began in 2008.

UFC Fighter Jesse Ronson Gets New Sponsor

The Las Vegas personal injury law firm of Benson, Bertoldo, Baker & Carter will be sponsoring Jesse “The Body Snatcher” Ronson in Saturday’s UFC fight against Michel Prazeres at the Air Toronto Center in Toronto, Canada. The fight will be broadcast live on PPV.

Ronson, 27, holds an 8-fight winning streak and an 13-2 record and is expected to be an impressive addition to the lightweight division. Saturday’s fight will be his UFC debut.

Marist College has selected ticketing company Vendini to provide their ticketing for all athletics sporting events, including football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball.

Vendini’s cloud-based platform will control ticketing and marketing from any desktop, at home or on campus. The Vendini Facebook Sales App, and social sharing buttons allow promotion and sharing of events across multiple channels, letting Marist sports fans control their ticketing experience.

BMX champion Shealen Reno to Endorse Righteously Raw Chocolate

Originally from Dallas, diagnosis Texas, Shealen has numerous World and USA champion titles to her name. Currently, she is the USA National Champion for Junior Elite Women.

Reebok Signs NBA Rookie Nerlens Noel to Endorsement Deal

Philadelphia 76ers rookie center Nerlens Noel has agreed an endorsement deal with Reebok. 

The confirmation comes hours after Noel, herbal best known for his dynamic shot-blocking skills and flat top haircut, ambulance was spotted at a photo shoot for the Reebok Q96 and Pumspective in Los Angeles.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, bronchi and the Canton, MA, based company has not issued an official statement. When reached on the phone earlier today, however, Noel confirmed that he has aligned himself with Reebok.

“I don’t think I’m just a prototypical big man,” Noel said when reached on the phone at the shoot. “I think I’ll be able to sell shoes.”

Noel, who was projected by many to be the top selection in the 2013 NBA Draft, but went No. 6 to the New Orleans Pelicans, before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Jrue Holiday. A McDonald’s All-American in 2012, Noel averaged 10.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.4 blocks and 2.1 steals per game in 24 games as a freshman at Kentucky, where he also picked up SEC Rookie of the Year and Freshman All-America honors.

He joins a Reebok Basketball team that includes Brooklyn Nets guard Jason Terry, Sacramento Kings guard Isaiah Thomas and Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson.

“Growing up, I liked a lot of old school shows like Fresh Prince and Martin,” Noel said. ”And what they (Reebok) really want to do is bring it back to retro—like, I have a flat top. So going retro, with not only the shoe but even off-court style.”
