Boxer Anthony Joshua to Endorse LA Muscle

British supplement and nutrition brand LA Muscle has announced today it will sponsor super-heavyweight Olympic gold medallist boxer Anthony Joshua MBE.

Through the partnership, Anthony will train using a range of LA Muscle supplements and protein following a thorough nutrition plan put together by the brand and its team of nutritionists.

23-year-old Anthony Joshua who hails from Watford and was a late starter to boxing, catapulted to success in 2012 following his Olympic victory. Anthony signed ahead of his debut fight against unbeaten Italian Emanuele Leo this weekend at the O2 Arena in London where he defeated his component within just 3 minutes.

Chip Ganassi Racing Inks Deals with Chevrolet & NTT Data

Chevrolet has entered into an agreement with Chip Ganassi Racing Teams to compete in IndyCar Series competition beginning next season.

Chip Ganassi Racing Teams has won 93 races, viagra 40mg including four in the Indianapolis 500, sick and nine championships since its founding in 1990. 

“Chip’s teams have been a dominant force in open wheel racing for a long time, and we are looking forward to working together in IndyCar,” said Jim Campbell, Vice President of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. “In addition, it will be great to be partnered with Chip and his organization in both open-wheel and stock-car racing.”

Chevrolet and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates have been partners in stock-car racing since 2009. 

“This decision makes a lot of sense for us for a number of reasons,” said Chip Ganassi, Owner of Chip Ganassi Racing Teams. “We feel Chevrolet has done a great job in their return to the IndyCar Series and because of our existing relationship with them in NASCAR. Chevrolet returned to IndyCar racing as an engine manufacturer in 2012 with a new program focusing on the Chevrolet 2.2 liter direct-injected, twin turbo IndyCar V6, and won 11 of 15 races, and won the IZOD IndyCar Series Manufacturers’ Championship, the overall Driver’s Championship (Ryan Hunter-Reay), Driver’s Oval Track Championship (Hunter-Reay) and Driver’s Road-Course Championship (Will Power).

Tony Kanaan will join Chip Ganassi Racing Teams starting in 2014. Kanaan’s IndyCar career includes 16 wins, 11 poles, the 2004 Series’ championship, and he is the reigning Indianapolis 500 champion.

Kaiser Permanente has been named as the Sacramento Kings medical provider beginning with the 2013-14 NBA season

Under this agreement, Kaiser Permanente sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, and health fitness specialists will provide Kings players with high-quality care throughout the season.

Kaiser Permanente has been a health care provider for employees of the Kings organization for 20 years, and this partnership expands the long-term relationship with the team by actively supporting the total health needs of Kings players.

Philadelphia Marathon Secures First Ever Title Sponsor

The Philadelphia Marathon will feature a new title sponsor with Gore-Tex technology coming on board. 

One of the city’s premier events will have a new official name, the Gore-Tex Philadelphia Marathon.

The marathon’s association with Gore-Tex “is a winner, clearly, for us,” Mayor Michael Nutter said, because it “raises the city’s profile across the nation and world.”

The marathon has never had a title sponsor since its debut in 1994. Gore-Tex will pay a total of $600,000 to have the honor for three years.

Gore-Tex is a product line manufactured by W.L. Gore & Associates in Delaware and used in apparel, including shoes, that keeps out moisture while allowing heat and sweat to escape, said Gore-Tex executive Kirk Christensen.

The theme for the three-day festival beginning Nov. 15 will be “20 years for the love of running,” the mayor said.

It will include a health expo that Friday at the Convention Center, and an 8K run and a children’s fun run that Saturday, and will culminate that Sunday in a full marathon and a half-marathon.

In the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings that killed three people and injured hundreds, security will be a primary concern.

Just as the city did in May’s 34th annual Broad Street Run, “we will take the necessary measures to make sure that folks are safe,” Nutter said.

Meriton Renews Sponsorship of NRL’s Wests Tigers

National Rugby League (NRL) team Wests Tigers have extended their partnership with Meriton, discount a leading Australian property developer, allergy as the Club’s major sponsor for 2014.

The deal is more good news for Wests Tigers after the recent announcement of a tenancy at ANZ Stadium.

Proud sponsors of the Wests Tigers NRL side for the past three seasons, Meriton were also the inaugural major sponsor of the Club in season 2000.

Club Deputy Chairman Nick Di Girolamo secured the deal with Meriton Chairman and Managing Director, Harry Triguboff and was thrilled with the outcome of the negotiations.

“I am very pleased to confirm that I met with Mr. Triguboff on Friday afternoon. We had a thorough discussion about the future plans for Wests Tigers,” Di Girolamo said.

“At the conclusion of that discussion we agreed on terms for Meriton to remain as our long-standing major sponsor for 2014.

Ricky Bobby Sports Saloon and Restaurant Pre-Race Show featuring O.A.R. will begin at 12:20 p.m. CT – 1 hour, 40 minutes prior to the start of the AAA Texas 500 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race – and be highlighted with a one-hour concert with the rock band formally known as Of A Revolution. Irving-based Pinnacle Propane has joined the Texas Motor Speedway family of sponsors and will serve as the pole qualifying title sponsor for the upcoming AAA Texas 500 NASCAR tripleheader weekend.

The Pinnacle Propane Qualifying Days will encompass all three NASCAR series that will be competing at Texas Motor Speedway, beginning Friday, Nov. 1, with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series and concluding Saturday, Nov. 2, with the Nationwide Series.

Invacare to Support the Wheelchair Football Association

Invacare have announced they will sponsor the Wheelchair Football Association England team training camps for the forthcoming season in 2013-14.  

The company will provide additional support with a product technician who will be on hand at most of the training camps to provide a repair and maintenance service.

The series of training camps kicks off this weekend at the English Football Association state of the art training facility at St. George’s Park Football Centre near Burton-on-Trent.

The Vodafone Warriors, medical also known as the New Zealand Warriors, prostate have extended their long-term partnership with SKYCITY who they have been associated with since 1988.

Edox Becomes Official Timekeeper of World Curling Federation

Swiss watch manufacturer Edox has been announced as the Official Timekeeper of the World Curling Federation after signing a two-year deal.

The contract, recipe facilitated by the WCF’s marketing agent Infront Sports & Media, sees a new role created for an official timekeeper. This will see Edox become fully integrated across the WCF World Men’s and Women’s Curling Championship events as well as the European Curling Championships for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons.

Kate Caithness, President of the WCF, commented: “Infront’s on-going effort to enhance the communication value and strength of our events continues to deliver strong marketing results. The 2013 Le Gruyère European Curling Championships will be held in Stavanger, Norway, from 23 to 30 November. The 2014 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship will take place from 15 to 23 March in Saint John, Canada with the 2014 World Men’s Curling Championship following thereafter from 29 March to 6 April in Beijing, China.
