Procter & Gamble Ink Hockey Canada Partnership

Procter & Gamble today announced a partnership with Hockey Canada in a new four-year national partnership.

Under the agreement, dosage order P&G will support the advancement of hockey in Canada from grassroots to high performance programming including sponsorship of such events as the National Women’s Under-18 Championship, World Sledge Hockey Challenge, World Junior A Challenge, World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, TELUS Cup – Canada’s National Midget Championship, Esso Cup – Canada’s National Female Midget Championship and RBC Cup – Canada’s National Junior A Championship.

ABC Supply to Title Sponsor 2014 & 2015 IndyCar Milwaukee Race

Wisconsin-based ABC Supply Co. returns as the title sponsor of the IndyCar Series race in Milwaukee for 2014 and 2015.

The 2014 date will move from mid-June to Aug. 16-17, placing it in the heart of the drive for the series championship.

“We have a large number of associates and customers in the Wisconsin area and are happy for the opportunity to support the oldest and longest operating motor speedway in the world,” ABC Supply Co. founder and board chairman Diane Hendricks said of The Milwaukee Mile. “As a sponsor of A.J. Willis Remains Official Commercial Insurance Provider of ECHL

The East Coast Hockey League has announced on Wednesday that Willis will continue to serve as the “Official Commercial Insurance Provider of the ECHL” for the 2013-14 season. 

The partnership agreement once again highlights Willis at all ECHL regular season and playoff games, buy as well as at the League’s signature events hosted throughout the season.

First Command Financial Services to Sponsor 2013 Marine Corps Marathon

First Command Financial Services announced today they will sponsor the 2013 Marine Corps Marathon with a donation of $50, thumb 000.

About 30,000 runners are expected to take part in this year’s marathon on Oct. 27 in Arlington, Va. And First Command’s sponsorship dollars will support several popular elements of the annual event.

First Command is the presenting sponsor of the MCM Carbo Dining In, the annual pre-event pasta dinner at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, and MCM Forward, the satellite marathon event for deployed military. Last year, MCM Forward locations included sites in Afghanistan, the USS New York, Kuwait, Turkmenistan and Abu Dhabi.

First Command will also participate in the marathon’s Health and Fitness Expo, a three-day event that is expected to attract more than 100,000 runners and visitors.

Canon Joins 2013 SEA Games as Official Imaging and Document Solutions Sponsor

Camera manufacturer Canon has agreed to sponsor the 27th South-East Asian Games (SEA Games), medstore which will be held in Myanmar in December.

As part of the deal Canon ‘Official Imaging and Document Solutions Sponsor’ of the SEA Games. Canon will work with organisers, fans and photographers to capture and communicate compelling moments during the historic event.

“Inspired by the SEA Games motto, which is focused on sustainability, sportsmanship and friendship, Canon wants to champion this celebration of the culture, heritage and traditions of Southeast Asia as an Official Sponsor for the 2013 SEA Games,” said Kensaku Konishi, president and chief executive of Canon Singapore.

Apart from being one of the region’s most significant events in 2013, this year’s Games will also mark its return to Myanmar, a country that last hosted the biennial multi-sporting event in 1969.

In addition, Canon will provide document management support and Business Multi-Function Devices to the organizers, to ensure the smooth running of the Games.

Red Baron to Sponsor Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild has announced an enhanced partnership with Schwan’s Consumer Brands, erectile Inc., anesthetist the makers of Red Baron frozen pizzas.

The main element of the partnership is the #RedBaronRoadie Twitter contest that awards merchandise, game tickets and a fan road trip in the 2014-15 season.

As part of the promotion, Red Baron and the Wild are looking to find and celebrate the passionate fans that have what it takes to join a Wild “roadie” – a popular term for an away game. During each Wild “roadie” game this season, fans are asked to submit photos using the Twitter hashtag #RedBaronRoadie of themselves watching the game – enjoying Red Baron products or impersonating the Baron himself. Each month, the Wild will select the best photos for fans to vote online. The winner of the monthly vote gets a prize, ranging from a new Wild jersey, to autographed merchandise or game tickets.

NBA Expands Taco Bell Partnership

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has expanded their marketing partnership with food group Taco Bell Corp.

Taco Bell will remain the Official Quick Service Restaurant Partner of the league, a position it has held since 2009. This partnership will help Taco Bell and the NBA’s broad fan bases share their passion for the game through marquee league events and NBA-themed promotions in restaurants nationwide.

Taco Bell and the NBA are also expanding their partnership with the launch of a new digital and social program to showcase last-second game winning shots. Connecting with the millions of fans across the NBA and Taco Bell’s social channels to bring them more access to the “can’t miss” moments in basketball is a key element of the expanded relationship. Additional fan engagement for this program will be integrated at Taco Bell restaurants nationally and during the NBA Playoffs and Finals to build on the excitement of the post-season.

Santini Signs Clothing Deal with Belkin Pro Cycling

Italian clothing manufacturer Santini has inked a two-year deal with Belkin Pro Cycling Team.

Santini will supply the team with official team clothing, look both on and off the bike, drugs starting from January 2014.

“Santini breathes passion, lives for cycling, and is known for its high-end clothing and many years of experience with great cycling teams,” says Belkin Pro Cycling Team general manager Richard Plugge. “The match with Belkin is perfect. Technical innovation is important for both Belkin and Santini. We are very happy to further build our team together with another Italian brand next to bike partner Bianchi.”

Pietro Santini, owner and founder of the family-run company based in Bergamo, Italy, is pleased with the collaboration. “We share with Belkin some fundamental values. Honesty, trust, hard work. Team Belkin represents the new face of cycling, and we are ready to ride the future with them,” says Santini.

Buckinghamshire New University Renew Deal with London Wasps

London Wasps have resigned Buckinghamshire New University as thier Official University Partner.

The University, which has been an official partner of the club since 2007, will continue to benefit from London Wasps providing coaches to work with the University’s rugby squad and deliver rugby coaching and coach education to sports students.

The agreement will also see members of the London Wasps commercial and community teams deliver guest lectures at the University, as well as the Club providing work experience and internship opportunities for Bucks students in what is a special partnership between a university and an Aviva Premiership rugby club.

Paul Morgan, Head of the Department of Sport Management at Bucks New University, said of the partnership: “We’re delighted to extend our successful relationship with a top flight sports organisation such as London Wasps. The agreement has given our students direct access to key people at Wasps, and also valuable internships, work experience and job opportunities.

“Several of our former students are now employed directly with London Wasps as well as with numerous other Aviva Premiership rugby clubs and the Rugby Football Union, and also in Europe, Asia and America, both within the community and elite game. A lot of these employment pathways can be traced back to our successful partnership with London Wasps.”
