DB Schenker Becomes Official Logistics Provider of Glasgow 2014

DB Schenker has been appointed the Official Logistics Provider of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

DB Schenker will provide warehouse space, pills warehouse operations including staff and equipment, thumb and freight transportation services.

The company will provide an end to end service for the Games and has extensive experience in the provision of logistics services for major sporting events.

The company has worked with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) since 2004 and recently extended its agreement to provide logistics, cialis price freight forwarding and customs clearance services throughout Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016.

Dollar General Expands Joe Gibbs Racing Sponsorship

U.S. chain of variety stores, Dollar General has announced it will expand its sponsorship of Joe Gibbs Racing by 10 races in the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and will again be the primary paint scheme for the No. 20 of Matt Kenseth in the season-opening Daytona 500.

The additional 10 races bring the Dollar General-Joe Gibbs Racing partnership total to 27 events.

Other races in which Dollar General will serve as the primary sponsor for the No. 20 include the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway in May, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the regular-season finale at Richmond International Raceway, the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup opener at Chicagoland Speedway and the Chase race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“Dollar General has a tremendous enthusiasm for our sport, and as a driver, it’s great to have such a supportive sponsor behind you,” Kenseth said in a JGR release. “In our first year together, the No. 20 team had such an unbelievable season. Kenseth finished second in the final 2013 points standings. He was the top seed in the Chase and won a series-best seven races. Four of Kenseth’s seven wins came in the yellow Dollar General-dominated scheme — at Las Vegas, Kentucky, the Bristol night race and the Chase opener at Chicagoland.

The UPSL currently consists of 12 teams in Southern California with a projected 20 plus teams in 2014. Philadelphia Eagles Renew Ricoh Americas Partnership

The Philadelphia Eagles, who are challenging for top spot in the NFC East, have announced a partnership with Ricoh Americas Corporation.

Under the extended partnership Ricoh makes information work for the Philadelphia Eagles by providing a full range of Managed Document Services to its 200-employee front office, including sales, marketing, HR, IT, legal and other operations. The extension reaffirms Ricoh’s position as the Official Document Solutions Partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, building on a partnership formed in 2010.

BLK Replaces KooGa as Apparel Partner of Melbourne Storm

WRS Group have renewed their apparel partnership with National Rugby League team Melbourne Storm until 2015.

The sponsorship deal sees BLK replace KooGa as the exclusive apparel partner for Melbourne Storm, receiving logo placement on all of the club’s official apparel, delivering significant brand exposure for the playing kit leader.

Tyron Brant, Managing Director of WRS Group said the organisation was pleased to be continuing its partnership with the 2012 NRL Premiers.

Wigan Warriors Announce Houses for Homes as Major Sponsors

Super League champions Wigan Warriors have announced Houses for Homes will be their Main Club Partners for 2014.

The agreement will see the Houses for Homes logo appear on both the home and away players’ and replica shirts during the forthcoming campaign when the Warriors aim to successfully defend their Super League Title and Tetley’s Challenge Cup which were won at Old Trafford and Wembley respectively during 2013.

Houses for Homes is a national company which is based in Wigan and has grown steadily since its formation in 2002. The company supplies social and extra care housing stock and accommodation to people across the country through registered housing providers, turning houses into homes and estates into thriving communities.

GMB Union Renew Castleford Tigers Kit Sponsorship

Castleford Tigers have announced they have extended their kit sponsorship deal with GMB Union for an eleventh consecutive season.

The renewal, which runs until the end of the 2014 Super League season, will see the general union’s logo feature on the chests of the Tigers’ shirts and the back of matchday tickets.

Derby County Reveal M&DH as Back of Shirt Sponsor

English Championship club Derby County FC have announced today M&DH Insurance Services as the Rams’ back of shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2013/14 season. 

The sponsorship deal will see M&DH’s company logo appear on the back of the first-team’s home, away and third kit shirts and shorts.

M&DH will replace Bet Badger who ended their partnership with the Rams recently.

The logo will appear on the Rams’ kit for the first time on Sunday 1st December for Derby’s trip to Wigan Athletic.

Bundesliga 2’s Arminia Bielefeld Reveal Alpecin as New Shirt Sponsor

Bundesliga 2 club DSC Arminia Bielefeld has announced the Alpecin brand of local based company Dr. Kurt Wolff will be their new main and shirt sponsor.

After the insolvency of the former main sponsor getgoods.de the club was able to conclude with Dr. Kurt Wolff within two weeks brokered by agency SportFive.

As part of the deal, the Alpecin logo will be displayed on the jersey of the professional team starting with the game against FSV Frankfurt on Monday evening. The new commitment is preceded by a decade-long partnership between the Club and the Dr. Wolff Group.

Franklin & Marshall Becomes Main Sponsor of Hellas Verona

Clothing retailer Franklin & Marshall have agreed to be the main sponsor of Italian Serie A team Hellas Verona for the current season.

The brand’s logo will be displayed on the club’s shirts beginning with the match-up against Fiorentina on Monday.

The Verona-based firm’s logo will debut on the front of the club’s shirt when it travels to face Fiorentina on Monday.
