Konica Minolta to Sponsor Dempsey Racing/Konrad Motorsport for Rolex 24 Race

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has become an official sponsor of the No. 28 Dempsey Racing/Konrad Motorsport Porsche 911 GT America in the Rolex 24 At Daytona IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race, Jan. 25-26.

The 52nd anniversary Rolex 24 At Daytona will be the first race for IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, the newly unified organization between the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and the American Le Mans Series. The Dempsey Racing/Konrad Motorsport Porsche will be co-driven at the Daytona opener by Christian Engelhart, Rolf Ineichen, Lance Willsey, Klaus Bachler and Konrad Motorsport team owner Franz Konrad.

Royal Purple to Sponsor TRG-AMR for 2014 United SportsCar Season

TRG-AMR North America today announced Houston-based premium synthetic lubricant manufacturer, asthma Royal Purple, therapy as the team’s exclusive lubricants provider and team sponsor for the 2014 race season.

Following extensive vehicle performance and durability testing using Royal Purple’s products and an initial limited partnership late in 2013, the two groups worked together during the off-season to establish a permanent technical and marketing alliance for the 2014 race season. 

Under the terms of the technical and marketing alliance, Royal Purple’s products will be used in all TRG-AMR V12 Vantage GT3’s and Vantage GT4’s competing in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, Pirelli World Challenge, Continental Tire Championship and Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of North America race series. TRG-AMR will also prominently feature Royal Purple branding on the team’s race cars, trailers and apparel. Together, the two companies will work to establish integrated marketing and social media campaigns, building brand equity and raising awareness for both TRG-AMR’s racing efforts and Royal Purple’s line of synthetic lubricants and fluids.

TRG-AMR and Royal Purple’s first race as partners occurs at the 52nd annual Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, in Daytona Beach, Fla., January 25 and 26, featuring the No. 007 and No. 009 cars competing in the TUDOR USCC GTD class, and cars No. 07 and No. 09 in the GS class of the Continental Tire Sport Car Challenge.

Mexican Oil Specialists Sponsor Force India

Formula 1 team Sahara Force India have announced today a multi-year partnership with Roshfrans, the lubricant oils specialists from Mexico.

The agreement will see prominent Roshfrans branding on the team’s new car, the VJM07 (rear wing endplate) as well as on the drivers’ suits, helmets and team clothing.

Gresini Moto2 Team Extends SPARK Technical Partnership

Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 team has extended their partnership with SPARK following a satisfactory first campaign together in 2013.

SPARK Exhaust Technology – a brand of Vecchi S.r.l., pills specialized for over 40 years in the production of high performance exhaust systems for cars and motorcycles – will design the exhaust system of both Suter-Honda machines of the team from Faenza, sale ahead of the 2014 Moto2 World Championship.

Last November, health before the winter break, both riders, Xavier Siméon and rookie Lorenzo Baldassari, were able to make several laps aboard their new bikes equipped with SPARK exhaust, collecting important data ahead of the forthcoming season. The Team will be back on track for the test planned on 6 and 7 February at the Circuit de Almeria, before moving on to Valencia.

Former NBA Star Yao Ming Signs TutorGroup Partnership

DHL Announced as Team GB’s Logistics Partner for Sochi Olympics

The British Olympic Association (BOA) has announced today that logistics supplier DHL has become the Official Team GB Logistics Partner for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

DHL will transport over eight tonnes of the GB team’s supplies and equipment nearly 5, allergy 500 miles by air and ocean freight from Stockport in the UK to the Olympic Village in to Sochi.

DHL will also have an integral role in supporting the athletes at “kitting out” week in Stockport, ed where they will be provided with their all-important equipment for the first time.

Sam Querrey Inks Endorsement Deal with Fila

American tennis player Sam Querrey has inked an endorsement deal with sportswear manufacturer Fila today.

The multi-year agreement with Querrey continues the legacy of Fila’s sponsorship of elite tennis champions. Querrey joins an impressive roster of ATP World Tour players who have worn the Fila brand on-court since the 1970s.

“We are thrilled that American tennis star Sam Querrey has joined the Fila family,” said Gene Yoon, Chairman of Fila. “As we enter the 103rd year of the Fila brand, our commitment to the sport that is such an important part of our history will be strengthened by our relationship with world-class athletes like Sam. Sam is a member of the United States Davis Cup team and won the lone U.S. singles rubber during the 2013 World Group Quarterfinal vs Serbia. He represented the United States at the Beijing Games in 2008. Querrey’s serve is one of the fastest on the ATP World Tour and has been recorded up to 148mph.

Motul Joins British Superbike Championship as Official Lubricant Partner

The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship have announced motorcycle lubricant manufacturer Motul as their Official Lubricant Partner for the 2014 season.

The deal also includes Motul becoming title partner of the Motostar British Championship, adiposity the platform for young aspiring riders to showcase their talents on both 125cc and Moto3 machinery.

The partnership with MCE BSB and the Motul Motostar British Championship will further enhance the brand’s philosophy of helping develop riders and teams at every level of motorcycle sport. Molten’s Elite x5000 series balls will be the official ball for all IHF competitions starting from the 2014 Women’s Junior World Championship in Croatia.
