NBA Seals FrieslandCampina Marketing Deal in Southeast Asia

Dairy company Royal FrieslandCampina have announced today a multi-year marketing partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) across Southeast Asia.

As the Official Milk Partner of the NBA in Indonesia, cough Malaysia, ed Thailand, malady Vietnam and the Philippines, FrieslandCampina will activate its Drink.Move.BeStrong campaign to reach the NBA’s broad and passionate fanbase in Asia through grassroots events, television and digital activities, and localized content for its customers. The company will also provide NBA fans the opportunity to receive NBA-branded products, in store promotion and unique NBA experiences.

FrieslandCampina will also serve as the Presenting Partner of Jr. NBA, the league’s international youth development program through its Dutch Lady, Foremost, Frisian Flag and Alaska brands.

The Jr. NBA program has been staged in the Philippines for seven consecutive years, with more than 80,000 students, parents, and coaches participating in camps, clinics, and NBA Cares activities. In partnership with FrieslandCampina, Jr. NBA will launch for the very first time in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam later this year.

Connacht Rugby Reveals New Shirt Sponsor

Connacht Rugby has announced a new partnership with Irish company Murray Timber Group. 

The family-run business has agreed terms on a comprehensive three-year official partnership to begin in the summer of 2014. As part of the deal, the Murray Timber Group logo will appear on Connacht Rugby playing shirts.

Connacht Head Coach Pat Lam and local-born Connacht players John Muldoon, Ronan Loughney and Denis Buckley were all on hand at the Sportsground in Galway today to launch the partnership with Managing Director Paddy Murray and his son Patrick Murray, Sales Director.

Commenting on the new partnership, Patrick Murray, Director of Murray Timber Group said: “We are extremely honoured to partner with Connacht Rugby. All of us at Murray Timber Group are big supporters of the team and indeed rugby across the province.

“Last month, when the Connacht Rugby senior squad arrived at Creggs Rugby Club for an open training session, we were also there and we witnessed something special.

“With rugby enthusiasts from 18 local schools waiting to meet their heroes, we were heartened to see the way in which the players and staff interacted with the young children. Motsepe to Title Sponsor SAFA Second Division

The South African Football Association (SAFA) have revealed Motsepe Foundation as the new sponsor of the SAFA second division League for the next five years.

SAFA president Danny Jordaan said the announcement was a historic day for South African football and the development of the sport in the country.

“This is a great boost for South African football and we want to thank the Motsepe Foundation for their consistency in supporting grassroots development which is the most important sector of football, order ” Jordaan said.

“The Second Division is the last leg before teams progress into the professional ranks and it is therefore SAFA’s responsibility to make sure teams are financially viable as well as to have proper developmental structures.”

The league will now be known as the ABC Motsepe League.

Atletico Madrid Extends Azerbaijan Shirt Sponsorship

La Liga club Atletico Madrid have confirmed a renewal to their partnership with Azerbaijan for the next season.

Sussex Cricket Reveal New Shirt Sponsor

Sussex County Cricket Club have announced today a new sponsorship deal with Jointing Technologies, which will see their name displayed on the Sharks’ NatWest T20 Blast playing shirts for at least the next three seasons.

Competitor Group, Inc. (CGI), have announced a partnership with The Quinn Family Foundation (QFF) naming rungevity the title partner of the 2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Marathon.

Founded by Jeffry N. Quinn, rungevity is an umbrella platform to support and grow local charities through its fundraising and endurance sport-training program.

For 2014, rungevity will select five St. Louis charities to benefit from the program at the race. STORCK Announced as Co-Sponsor of 2014 Tour de Suisse

Arminia Bielefeld Renews Sponsorship Deal with Krombacher Brewery

Bundesliga 2 team DSC Arminia Bielefeld have extended their sponsorship deal with Krombacher Bernhard Schadeberg GmbH & Co. KG.

The successful long-term partnership lasted since the 2004/05 season and will now be extended until early 2018. The agreement includes, denture as in previous years, an extensive advertising presence in the SchücoArena. The partnership was brokered with SPORT FIVE.
