IZOD to Sponsor NCAA Golf Champion Cameron Wilson

PVH Corp. announced today a multi-year marketing partnership for its IZOD Golf brand with 2014 NCAA Division I Individual Golf Champion Cameron Wilson, help the same day the Stanford University graduate announced he is turning pro.

As part of the multi-year agreement, order  IZOD Golf will serve as Wilson’s exclusive apparel sponsor on-course. He joins Webb Simpson, cheap Scott Piercy and Spencer Levin as ambassadors on Team IZOD.

On the course, Wilson will wear IZOD Golf shirts with the brand’s logos present on the right chest and back yoke, along with IZOD Golf pants and belts. The former #4 ranked amateur and #2 collegiate golfer, Wilson will be featured on point-of-sale materials at participating retailers, in on-air and print advertisements, and on izod.com and IZOD’s social media channels.

Wilson won the 2014 NCAA Division I Individual Golf Championship last month in playoff. He recently competed in the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. Wilson is making his professional debut this week at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT.

Andy Murray Signs Standard Life Endorsement Deal

Two time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray has secured a new endorsement deal with the Standard Life Group.

The long term investment business company will replace RBS as a sponsor of the reigning Wimbledon champion. 

The partnership, link which will see Andy wear a Standard Life logo on his playing arm for all tournaments, advice will begin on the 23rd of June, health the first day of the 2014 Wimbledon Championships.  Murray, who is also an Olympic Gold medallist, competes in events in all of Standard Life’s key markets.

Dubai Duty Free has agreed to sponsor the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship in Dubai this August.

This will be the first time that the UAE, sale | and the Middle East region, buy has hosted a FIBA World Championship, and the event has received strong support from the local business community.

Bushnell Announced as Official Supplier to Hong Kong Golf Association

Bushnell, apoplectic a company specializing in optics and imaging, cialis has signed a deal to become the Official Supplier to the The Hong Kong Golf Association (HKGA).

The deal will see golfers in Hong Kong have access to rangefinders during HKGA tournaments. 

As part of the deal, capsule the HKGA and Bushnell have launched a joint initiative that will enable competitors to loan a laser rangefinder during HKGA tournaments if they don’t already own one.  This follows a decision by the HKGA’s Rules Committee to allow use of Distance Measuring Devices (DMDs) in its sanctioned tournaments, with the exception of the 6-12 age divisions at junior events.

HKGA cardholders will also receive a special 20% discount off the purchase of a Bushnell rangefinder while national squad members will be supplied with the latest laser technology for training and tournaments.

PGA of Australia Extend Coca-Cola Partnership

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has renewed their partnership with the PGA of Australia, cough it was announced today.

Now five years on from CCA’s formal entry into the Australian golf market in 2009, both parties have confirmed their partnership will continue for another five years taking the relationship through to the end of 2018.

The renewed agreement will see CCA refocus its Australian golf strategy with even greater emphasis on providing its market leading products and premium service to PGA Professionals at golf facilities around Australia.

European Tour Golfer Shane Lowry Becomes Bank of Ireland Ambassador

Bank of Ireland today have announced today that it will sponsor Irish professional golfer, Shane Lowry, until 2016. 

Winner of the 2009 Irish Open and 2012 Portuguese Masters on the PGA European Tour, Shane is currently ranked No 75 in world golf rankings.  He is 17th in the current race to Dubai rankings, is a multiple European tour winner and has already achieved 20 top ten finishes on the PGA European tour.

Shane will represent Bank of Ireland both as a brand ambassador in Ireland and as he competes across the globe in the years ahead.  He will sport the Bank’s branding on the left chest of his golf apparel in addition to hosting a number of corporate events for the Bank each year.

Belkin Drop UCI Cycling Sponsorship

Belkin will no longer be showcased in cycling after they dropped their title sponsorship of their Dutch UCI World Tour team.

The search for a new backer has begun immediately, with the UCI World Tour team expressing its disappointment by Belkin’s withdrawal, which the electronics firm attributed to a change of brand strategy.

Belkin took over sponsorship of the team at the start of the 2013 season after they ran for a season as Blanco Pro Cycling in the wake of Rabobank’s withdrawal over doping controversies.

Their current roster includes Grand Tour contender Bauke Mollema, classics specialist Sep Vanmarcke and sprinter Lars Boom.

A Belkin statement read: “Belkin entered into cycling last year with the aim to increase brand awareness and subsequently sales revenue.

“While initial brand awareness results increased for the Belkin brand throughout Europe, the company strategy is to be more globally focused for all of the Belkin International brands.”

The team’s managing director Richard Plugge said: “We have full confidence in the future and expect to appear with a new sponsor on the shirt at the start of the 2015 season.

“We are a Dutch procycling team with an international image and World Tour status, therefore we expect to find a new title sponsor.

“We were already in conversation with additional sponsors and still have sponsorship opportunities open for the upcoming Tour de France.”
