South Africa Reveal Interest in 2024 Olympics Bid

South Africa have revealed they want to host the 2024 Olympics and the 2022 Commonwealth Games, the country’s sports minister Fikile Mbabula said.

The last major sporting event that South Africa hosted was the soccer World Cup four years ago, spending more than $3 billion in infra-structure costs.
