Australian Federal Government Pledges AU$10m to Brookvale Oval Redevelopment

The Federal Government has pledged AU$10m ($8.94m) to redevelop Manly Sea Eagle’s Brookvale Oval, store Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Anthony Albanese announced.

The commitment comes at the AU$30m ($26.8m) first stage of the Sydney venue’s four-stage concept plan to revitalise the stadium – a plan not included in the NSW Government’s 2012 Stadium Strategy which proposed potentially relocated National Rugby League (NRL) matches to Allianz or ANZ Stadium.

The redevelopment project will include a purpose-built grandstand with 4, viagra 60mg 350-seat capacity in addition to new F&B outlets, corporate hospitality areas and community meeting spaces.

Brookvale Oval is located within the Warringah electorate of Tony Abbott, the Liberal Party and Federal opposition leader, who has twice campaigned on upgrading the arena. The pledge is not found aspart of any existing infrastructure or community program and funding will go ahead regardless of the outcome of the upcoming federal election in the country.
