ATP And Infosys Renew Tech Partnership Until 2020

June 27, 2018

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Infosys have renewed their technology services partnership until 2020.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Indian multinational will continue in its role as Global Technology Services Partner and Platinum Sponsor of the ATP World Tour and Nitto ATP Finals.

The two organisations have been working together successfully since 2015.

Infosys has been instrumental in the production of the ATP’s new PlayerZone app, that allows users to engage with each other and access information across a wide range of operational aspects related to life on tour. This includes day to day real-time registration or withdrawals into tournament draws, real-time push notifications, and the ability to contact any other ATP current or former player on the app, among several other features.

Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer of Infosys, said of the partnership extension: “Our work with the ATP has gone from strength to strength in showcasing the future of tennis using technology such as AI and analytics, and in providing unique and differentiated digital experiences for players, coaches and most importantly the millions of tennis fans across the world.

“Through analyses of years of rich and varied tennis data, Infosys and the ATP have not only successfully showcased potential opportunities for the entire sporting ecosystem, but for several industries as well. We look forward to leveraging advances in technology to showcase the next set of innovative experiences through our renewed partnership with the ATP.”

ATP’s Executive Chairman & President, Chris Kermode, added: “Technology is playing an increasingly leading role in enhancing our understanding and analysis of our sport as well as enabling us to forge greater engagement with our worldwide fanbase. We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Infosys, a great partner to the ATP since 2015, for two more years to 2020.”
