Atletico Madrid and Volkswagen Pen One-Year Extension

Spanish Primera Liga club Atletico Madrid have agreed a one-year partnership extension with Volkswagen.

The club and the car manufacturer will see be partnered for a fourth year through this renewal.

Speaking about the extended deal, Laura Ros, Volkswagen’s Director, said: “We share with Atlético de Madrid the teamwork, self-improvement and effort capacity, which has made us leaders of the Spanish automotive market for the last three years and the first semester of 2015.”

The reigning Spanish champions currently sit third in the Spanish Liga and are in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League against rivals Real Madrid.
