Atlanta MLS Expansion Team Given Official Franchise Name

The new Atlanta soccer franchise to enter Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2017 will officially be known as Atlanta United FC, it was confirmed today.

The name was chosen after a survey was conducted with 21,000 of the club’s registered supporters who have already made deposits for season tickets.
