Aston Villa Partner with Time Warner Cable Sports for Southern California Coverage

Premier League football club Aston Villa have formed a partnership with Time Warner Cable Sports which will see their Aston Villa Weekly show screened on two regional sports channels in Southern California.

The two-year agreement will see Villa’s show broadcast to five-million homes each week on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Spanish-language station Time Warner Cable Deportes.

The three-hour programme focuses on all of Villa’s League games, nurse with interviews, for sale news and behind the scenes features.

Russell Jones, Head of Marketing and Communications at Aston Villa, said: “We are delighted to have signed this deal with Time Warner Cable.

“This relationship will help us reach over five-million homes across the west coast of America, which will not only provide existing fans with another platform to keep up to speed with events at Villa Park, but also allows us an opportunity to introduce Aston Villa to an entirely new audience.”
