Aston Villa Name Charlie Wijeratna as New Chief Commercial Officer

English Premier League club Aston Villa have appointed Charlie Wijeratna as their first ever chief commercial officer.

Wijeratna leaves his position as the commercial director of Baku 2015 to take up the role at the Midlands club where he will have responsibility for all areas of revenue generation and oversee the club’s marketing and media operations.
