Queens Park Rangers have announced ASR Holdings Ltd as our first Official Logistics Partner.

The Hong Kong based air freight solution providers have signed a one-year partnership, which will see the ASR logo included on the club’s first team training kit.

Listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Long Limited, ASR Holdings Ltd is one of the fastest growing air freight solution providers in the wholesale market headquartered in Hong Kong.

ASR operates in Hong Kong, with twelve offices in China, as well as four offices in Macau, Taipei Osaka and Tokyo, providing full scale services, solutions and resources to its Asian customer base.

QPR Chairman, Tony Fernandes, said in a statement on QPR’s website: “This is a significant breakthrough for QPR.

“We are only the second club in the Premier League, behind Manchester United, to have a training kit sponsor, which speaks volumes of where we are going in terms of our commercial aspirations.

“I’d like to personally thank Sathis at AirAsia for his introduction to ASR Holdings, which serves to reiterate how closely QPR and AirAsia are working together in growing the brand.”

Niki Law, Executive Director of ASR, added: “We are pleased to be appointed as the first official logistics partner of Queens Park Rangers which marks a major step in our development history.

“Riding on our pioneering and distinctive position in the air cargo wholesaling industry, this is an ideal match of an industry leader with a brand in the world’s most popular football league and we are confident that the result will be a win for both QPR and ASR.”

Announcing the new deal, QPR Commercial Director, Euan Inglis, commented: “This deal breaks new ground for QPR, as we unveil an Official Logistics Partner for the first time.

“We are delighted that ASR has chosen to pioneer training kit sponsorship with the Club.

“This is a deal that continues to demonstrate our position as an innovative and emerging brand, both in the UK and overseas.”

To mark the unveiling, the signing ceremony was attended by Sunny Yu, Chairman of ASR; Richard Mak and Niki Law, Executive Directors of ASR; as well as QPR CEO, Philip Beard, Euan Inglis, Mark Hughes and Ji-Sung Park.
