ASOIF’s Andrew Ryan: “Tokyo 2020 Organisers Are Way Ahead Of The Game”

June 20, 2019

The state of preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Games is “very pleasing indeed” for the sports that will take place next year, according to Andrew Ryan, Executive Director of ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations), speaking in an exclusive interview with iSportconnect TV.

He said that ASOIF has received a very positive reaction from far and wide to its “warts and all” report on The Future of Global Sport, and that there has been considerable feedback already (also “warts and all”).

ASOIF, which currently has 28 member federations, serves and represents the Summer Olympic sports on issues of common interest in the Summer Olympic Games (including the distribution of revenues) and the Olympic Movement and other areas as needed.
