Asian Tour Hires Shahid Sen as Director of Business Development

The Asian Tour have announced today the appointment of Shahid Sen as Director of Business Development based at its Singapore headquarters.
Sen, price who has 15 years of experience in the sports industry across Asia, will work closely with CEO Mike Kerr with the primary goal to establish new commercial and tournament opportunities for the Asian Tour.
Kerr said: “On behalf of the Management of the Asian Tour, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Shahid Sen as Director, Business Development.
“Shahid comes with extensive experience in the sports industry and he will bring a lot of value to the Asian Tour as we seek to expand our business and playing opportunities for our membership over the next decade and beyond.”
Prior to joining the Asian Tour, Sen spent six years at Repucom, the global leaders in sports marketing research, where he was Executive Vice President and headed the Asian revenue and sales division based in Singapore.
Earlier in his career, Shahid spent almost a decade in event management and sponsorship sales as a Director at Leander Sport and as a General Manager for IMG in India where he developed a strong understanding of the wider world of sports marketing, events and sponsorships.
