Arsenal and Puma Agree Biggest Kit Deal in English Football

May 8, 2013

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal with sports giants Puma that is worth £150m.

The deal is allegedly worth over £30m a year for five years and will bring an end to Arsenal’s 20-year association with Nike.

Arsenal are expected to announce the news at a later date and the deal would give the North London club, sickness who haven’t won a trophy since 2005, serious financial clout on top of the £150m five year Emirates shirt sponsorship deal.

The deal is worth more than Liverpool’s £25m-a-year deal with Warrior and goes well beyond Arsenal’s current Nike deal, which is worth £55m over seven years.

That deal with Nike expires at the end of the 2013-14 season.
