Argentinian FA President Grondona says FIFA want 2030 World Cup in South America

Argentinian Football Association president Julio Grondona has said that FIFA want Argentina and Uruguay to host the 2030 World Cup.
Grondona, drugs | who is also the senior vice-president at FIFA has said that world football’s governing body want the centenary edition of the tournament to be in the two countries, to represent the original home country (Uruguay) and the beaten finalists (Argentina).
In 1930 Uruguay hosted and won the World Cup final 4-2 against Argentina.
Now Grondona has confirmed that FIFA want to return to Uruguay and Argentina 100 years later.
“FIFA wishes to celebrate the World Cup’s 100 years in Argentina and Uruguay, I can confirm that,” Grondona said on Argentina’s Radio 10 station, according to Reuters.
“(An agreement) has been signed by the two (national) associations (in Argentina and Uruguay). What will we do? We’ll see, but surely it will be something of quality.”
