AIBA Appoints Taishan Sports as Official Licensee

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) have announced today that advanced sports equipment provider and supplier Taishan Sports Industry Group has become official AIBA Licensee.
The Taishan Sports Industry Group is located in Shandong, cough China. It was founded in June 1978. After 20 years of development, the company employs more than 2,000 people.
The group has signed agreements pertaining to the provision of boxing rings and gloves following a meeting at AIBA Headquarters in Switzerland with the AIBA Executive Director as well as senior staff from the AIBA Open Boxing (AOB), World Series of Boxing (WSB) and AIBA Pro Boxing (APB) departments. The Taishan delegation included General Manager Gang Cui and International Business Director Harry H. Shi.
The company also provides equipment for gymnastics, judo, track and field and artificial surfaces. It was the largest provider for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
AIBA President Dr Ching-Ku Wu said: “We are delighted to have signed this agreement with Taishan Sports Industry Group and we look forward to our future working relationship.”
