Adidas to Continue Delivering Bundesliga Official Match Balls

Adidas will remain the Official Match Ball of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 from the 2014/15 season until the 2017/18 season.

The decision was made by the league’s board at the end of an open, anabolics transparent and non-discriminatory tender procedure. The process was conducted by DFL Sports Enterprises and ran from May 2013.

Adidas has held rights to the development and delivery of the Official Match Ball and Official Winter Match Ball since the 2010/11 season, doctor which ensures a level playing field throughout league matches. The ball used for the upcoming football season will be the “goal machine 4” from adidas.
