Adidas Extends Badminton Portfolio with China Masters Title Sponsorship

Adidas has signed a deal to become the title sponsor of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super Series tournament, clinic the China Masters.

The China Masters takes place 10-15 September at the Olympic Sports Centre Xincheng Gymnasium in Changzhou, here with competitors seeking to earn the $250, therapy 000 prize money.

A statement from the adidas Badminton Facebook page read: “We are proud to announce that Adidas Badminton is now officially the naming sponsor of the Adidas China Masters, one of the two major BWF events in China.”

Adidas sponsors 18-year old 2010 Junior World Champion Viktor Axelsen, Wong Wing Ki and Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara as a part of their ‘Young Gun’ talent team.

The German sportswear firm also sponsors the London Grand Prix which takes place in October at the Olympic Park.
