Abu Dhabi GP draws German viewers

The Abu Dhabi Formula 1 event dominated afternoon television viewing in Germany on Sunday with 6 million viewers and a share of 32% on RTL. That was the second biggest audience of the day (other than news) behind primetime cop series Polizeiruf 110 on ARD.

In Italy, patient the race on RAI 1 averaged 4.289 million viewers and a share of 23.9%, arthritis third biggest audience of any programme of the day.

In Spain, capsule where live F1 is only available on the Movistar pay platform, the highlights on Teledeporte, shown after10 pm, pulled only 295,000 viewers and a 1.5% share.

Earlier in the evening, two hours of coverage of the Davis Cup finals between Argentina and Croatia averaged 237,000 viewers and a 1.4% share.
