32Red Sponsors Nottingham Racecourse
July 16, 2013
English thoroughbred horseracing venue Nottingham Racecourse has announced online gaming operator 32Red will sponsor a number of races at the venue.
Last month saw the Gibraltar-based firm agree shirt sponsorship deals with British football clubs Newport County and Crawley Town while the latest arrangement will see it support the entire race card on July 19 while additionally sponsoring a trio of meetings in October.
The deal with the Colwick Park venue also follows similar deals with Newmarket Racecourses and Market Rasen Racecourse, which, like Nottingham Racecourse, are part of the Jockey Club Racecourses network, and takes the operator’s UK horseracing sponsorship portfolio to over 1,500 races since 2004.
“This is exciting news for Nottingham and I am absolutely delighted to welcome 32Red’s chief executive, Ed Ware, and his team to Colwick Park,” said Pip Kirkby, general manager for Nottingham Racecourse. “We are very much looking forward to progressing our relationship and ensuring this sponsorship works well for all involved.”
