Tokyo 2020 Opening Ceremony will be ‘athlete-centric’ Organisers Promise

The organisers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games bid have promised to put the ‘athletes-first’ in their Opening Ceremony.
Tokyo 2020 released their plans for the Opening Ceremony, health which would occur in exactly seven years’ time if they are successful in their bid to host the Games and it has been described as a ‘dynamic celebration’ that will ‘raise the profile of athletes.’
Athletes will be able to wait in the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, bronchi right next to the Olympic Stadium, diagnosis before the Ceremony and will be seated inside the Olympic Stadium during the event.
IOC Member and President of both Tokyo 2020 and the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) Tsunekazu Takeda said: “The Opening Ceremony is without a doubt one of the most memorable experiences for athletes, and our newest initiatives are a perfect example of our commitment to deliver an ‘athletes-first’ Games.”
Tokyo 2020 also highlighted a number of other initiatives to make the Olympic experience as ‘stress-free’ as possible on athletes and their family, including minimised journey times to venues from the Olympic Village.
