A new premium experience: the CMO Brand Programme

As the worlds of sports, media and brands continue to converge, 2026 will also see the launch of the CMO Brand Programme, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, a founding member of XR Sports Alliance. Taking place on Monday 19 October, this exclusive new experience will bring leading international brands and senior marketing decision-makers into the SPORTEL community, connecting Chief Marketing Officers of companies that are heavily invested in sports partnerships, with key players from across the global sports industry. Combining high-level discussions, curated networking and premium hospitality, the programme will focus on the evolving role of sports in brand strategy, sponsorship, marketing and innovation.

“What makes SPORTEL Monaco unique is its ability to bring the right people together, at the right time, in the right place. For three days, the marketplace, conferences and networking opportunities create a truly international environment where business happens, ideas are exchanged and new connections are made. As sports media continues to evolve at an incredible pace, SPORTEL provides a unique perspective on where the industry is heading and brings together the people shaping what comes next. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the international sports media community back to Monaco and to creating another memorable edition together », said Marine Picoulet, Executive Director, SPORTEL Monaco

From Monaco to Toronto: SPORTEL expands its international footprint

While Monaco remains at the heart of SPORTEL’s international calendar, the brand’s global expansion continues with the launch of SPORTEL Canada, taking place for the first time in Toronto on 23–24 March 2027. With its strong sports culture and dynamic media and technology ecosystem, Canada is a natural new destination for the SPORTEL community, strengthening SPORTEL’s presence in the North American market and creating new connections across Canadian, US and international sports media, technology and business communities.

“When we started exploring the Canadian market, we quickly realised how much was happening there,” said Agnès Marsan, Executive Director at SPORTEL International. “The FIFA World Cup certainly created momentum, but Canada has a strong and growing sports business ecosystem in its own right. We already have relationships with a number of Canadian companies, but there is still a much broader community we want to connect with — including companies that do not yet attend SPORTEL America or SPORTEL Monaco. Bringing SPORTEL to Toronto is therefore a natural next step in strengthening our presence in North America and creating new opportunities for the Canadian sports industry to connect with the international market.”
