Six Star Pro Nutrition Inks Deals with Three Major Pro Athletes

March 5, 2012

Six Star Pro Nutrition, one of the USA’s leading sport supplement brands, has announced the signing of three top pro athletes to join their elite roster of endorsers with NFL’s New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Russell Westbrook and MLB’s Miami Marlins outfielder Mike Stanton each signing a multi-year endorsement with Six Star.

They’ll join UFC Heavyweight Brendan Schaub as the company’s athlete spokespeople.

The athlete roster will be featured in an integrated Six Star marketing campaign that combines print and digital media, in store point-of-purchase material, and multiple social media platforms that engages the athletes’ expansive fan bases.

“Rob, Russell and Mike are all young, rising talents. In just a few years, each of these athletes has made a statement,” said Iovate Health Sciences International Chief Marketing Officer Vito Sanzone. “Their work ethic and dedication to their sport and commitment to excellence will well represent Six Star Pro Nutrition to serious athletes everywhere.”

In his second year as a pro, Rob Gronkowski set the single-season record for most receiving touchdowns, most total touchdowns and most receiving yards for a tight end, and helped carry his team to the championship game. “Six Star looks at what athletes need to be their best,” said Gronkowski. “I spend a lot of time on the field and in the gym so it’s good to have a protein that I can trust to help me recover from my workouts.”

Russell Westbrook is a top-performing point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, whose average of 21 points per game has already earned him All-Star honors plus a gold medal at the 2010 FIBA World Championships. “A big part of the reason I use Six Star is their commitment to research and quality,” said Westbrook. “It feels good to be part of a team that I truly believe in.”

Miami Marlins outfielder Mike Stanton’s powerful swing helped him earn a spot on pro baseball’s 2010 All-Rookie Team. In just his second year in the majors he’s become one of the top-ten home run hitters. “I’m making Six Star Whey Protein Plus a part of my off-season routine and I’m excited to see the results,” says Stanton.
