RTL in PDC Darts Renewal

Dutch broadcaster RTL has secured a deal to continue covering darts events hosted by the Professional Darts Corporation. 

The new arrangement with PDC promoter Matchroom Sport will cover events from 2017 until 2019, and will see RTL cover several major darting events including the World Championship and Premier League.

Darts is a vastly popular sport in the Netherlands, with four of the world’s 15 highest-ranked players hailing from the European country. Michael van Gerwen recently regained the World title he first won in 2014, with Raymond van Barneveld also having won the trophy in recent years.
