The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a passionate, innovative marketing leader to serve as Senior Manager, Global Fan Engagement Marketing – Brand Initiatives within the league’s Global Fan Engagement Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for executing 1:1, signal-based brand marketing that deepens fan connection, drives sustained engagement, and reinforces the NFL’s global brand across markets, moments, and platforms. The Senior Manager will design and deliver omni-channel 1:1 marketing programs across email, SMS, push, in-app, and web, supporting global brand initiatives, tentpole moments, and always-on engagement programs. Sitting at the intersection of fan data, creative strategy, and marketing technology, this role ensures that brand storytelling is personalized, timely, and consistent across the fan journey. Working closely with partners across Brand Marketing, Sponsorship, Licensing, Events, Data & Analytics, MarTech, Clubs, and partners, this role helps operationalize personalization at scale while maintaining brand integrity, fan trust, and message relevance globally.

Responsibilities

  • Execute global 1:1 brand initiatives that deepen fan engagement and strengthen emotional connection to the NFL across markets and platforms.
  • Develop and govern enterprise contact and messaging strategies, ensuring consistent brand voice, frequency, and relevance across League, Club, and Partner communications.
  • Design and activate signal-based journeys leveraging behavioral, engagement, and contextual data to deliver personalized brand experiences across email, SMS, push, inapp, and web.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Product Marketing to integrate 1:1 campaigns into tentpole moments (Kickoff, Draft, Super Bowl) and evergreen brand programs.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics to apply segmentation, insights, and testing frameworks that continuously improve engagement and retention outcomes.
  • Activate the MarTech ecosystem (CDP, journey orchestration tools), supporting AIdriven personalization, dynamic content, and scalable execution.
  • Lead day-to-day campaign execution, from intake and planning through deployment, QA, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing across creative, messaging, cadence, and channels to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams, Clubs, agencies, and vendors to deliver integrated, on-brand campaigns at scale.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent, and regional regulations across global markets.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or 1:1 engagement marketing, ideally within global or matrixed organizations.
  • Hands-on experience executing omni-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push, inapp, and web.
  • Working knowledge of CDPs and marketing automation platforms (Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Campaign, SFMC, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing principles, fan engagement metrics, and lifecycle performance KPIs.
  • Experience collaborating across Brand, Data, MarTech, and Commercial teams.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments tied to live moments, tentpoles, and global calendars.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Digital Content Editor – NFL

NFL Media is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Digital Content Editor to work with NFL.com copy editors, writers and NFL Network reporters in the field on all types of news stories, including breaking and developing news situations. The candidate will be well versed in all news related to the National Football League. The candidate will also have a working knowledge of NCAA football, the NFL Draft and the NFL Combine. The ideal candidate is team oriented and collaborates well. Working on deadline and under pressure is a must. The NFL Media newsroom is a 24/7 operation, and this position will require weekend work and potentially after-hours assignments. You’ll have precise instincts and experience to make editorial decisions independently and the ability to stand behind those decisions when challenged .

Responsibilities

  • Train and directly oversee seasonal, contracted and part-time digital content producers, making story assignments and checking their work to ensure all content is grammatically correct, factually accurate and consistent with NFL Media’s editorial policies. 
  • Select, prioritize, edit, and post content of all types (text, video, photo, etc.) in a fast-paced, deadline environment, mindful of NFL Media editorial and stylistic standards. 
  • Think and react quickly to breaking news to coordinate breaking news language for the website and, as needed, NFL Network Ticker. 
  • Work closely with reporters on researching, sourcing, and publishing stories. 
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with different NFL Media departments to ensure coverage is consistent across all media platforms, including during fast-paced breaking-news scenarios. 
  • Demonstrate news judgment in editing and story selection consistent with NFL Media’s editorial policies. 
  • Prioritize editing queue in-line with the daily content plan but informed by data provided by real-time metrics. 
  • Manage the Around The NFL Twitter feed to maximize social impact and check that information is displayed creatively to capitalize user engagement. 
  • Execute home-page content plan, while also making independent and well-reasoned decisions based on real-time metrics and common sense. 

Required Education And Experience

  • At least three years editorial experience, preferably in online medium and in the sports industry 
  • Familiarity with web analytics and their application 
  • Proven NFL knowledge that lends itself to sound news judgment 
  • Strong computer skills
