Manager, Affiliate Sales & Content Distribution – NFL

The NFL Media group is seeking a Manager, Content distribution & Affiliate Sales to support distribution efforts, strategy and sales for NFL Network, NFL Red Zone, and new content distribution initiatives for NFL Media including NFL Media’s FAST channel.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in developing the strategy and the negotiation of content distribution agreements with new and traditional content platforms, including virtual and facilities based multi-channel programming distributors, as well as new content agreements with established and new digital/OTT platforms.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker that is able to understand and communicate high-level concepts and objectives into practical communication, planning and implementation of those objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for NFL Network, NFL Red Zone, and new content initiatives for NFL Media that grow consumption, drive distribution and increase revenue.
  • Liaise with existing and new content distribution partners in an effective and thoughtful way, at a level required for the NFL’s content partners.

Manager, Communications – NFL

This position will work with the Director, Communications to develop and implement communications strategies to increase the visibility around all aspects of the NFL’s corporate social responsibility and community relations efforts. This includes but is not limited to community relations initiatives such as Crucial Catch, Salute to Service, NFL Green; social responsibility efforts such as domestic violence and sexual assault; promotion of the NFL Foundation’s programs, Player Care Foundation, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a contact with media to help drive placements in high-profile and local outlets.
  • This position will also work across all social responsibility and community relations departmental verticals to help promote business, community endeavors and organizational engagement.
  • Work with partners, affiliates, vendors, NFL clubs, League executives, and other external outlets as needed.

Live Content Correspondent – NFL

The Live Content Correspondent is part of the Live Content Correspondent (LCC) program at the NFL that places creative and social media-minded Videographers and Photographers in every NFL market to capture content for NFL stakeholders as needed, 365 days a year.

Summary/Objective

This role requires a candidate who has a passion for football, advanced videography and/or photography skills, editing skills and extensive experience capturing sports/live content.

Each LCC will capture video and/or photo content using their own camera equipment. Content will be shared across the NFL Media ecosystem.

The main responsibilities of the LCC will be to capture high-quality videos and images at NFL and Club games (in-market), events and select activations.

We are hiring LCCs in select NFL markets .

During the season, you will work all home games and may work non-gameday events. Depending on performance and availability, you may have the opportunity to work at NFL and Club events in the off-season.

This is a part-time non exempt position that will report to the NFL Live Content Correspondent team. To work as an LCC you must have a flexible schedule that will allow you to shoot NFL events as needed.

This role will be a critical member of the team that supports the management and execution of League partners’ contractual agreements. Specific duties are essential for this role to manage the day-to-day requirements of League partners and work across the League to support initiatives with the partner.

Social Responsibility Coordinator – NFL

The Social Responsibility Senior Coordinator/Manager will be a part of the Social Responsibility Department. They will be responsible for managing components and projects related to the NFL’s work on a variety of social issues—notably social justice, domestic violence & sexual assault, and work with the LGBTQ community. The position reports to the Vice President of Social Responsibility and will work with the rest of the Social Responsibility team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day communication with NFL’s 30+ social justice grant partners, including collecting quarterly grant summaries. 
  • Serve as point person representing the NFL with the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault field, LGBTQ community, and other social issues that arise. 
  • Coordinate logistics and compile data on social justice initiatives. 
  • Coordinate all aspects of filming and distributing annual Social Responsibility education, as well as scheduling all education sessions with teams and league office employees.

The ideal candidate will be able to track, analyze, measure, and disseminate news coverage and social media activity important to the NFL in a timely fashion and digestible format. In addition, the Coordinator will serve as a key member of the league’s News Bureau to assist in building relationships with reporters and secure positive coverage on league initiatives, events, players, executives, and compelling storylines.

Responsibilities

  • Help to oversee the work of two media monitors and provide direction and quality control for daily clips packages. 
  • Be an analytical force in the media monitoring operation and News Bureau, providing key analysis and reports on the volume, tone, and tenor of coverage. 
  • Coordinate internal information-gathering for editorial calendar and proactive communications across the league. 
  • Generate and place stories that reflect the NFL’s values and successes. 
  • Help plan and execute press conferences, media availabilities, league meetings, executive briefings, etc. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, government relations, media analytics OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Knowledge of PR functions including media relations, executive/corporate communications tactics, storytelling and story placement, and coverage analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and proactivity. 
  • Ability to draft coverage reports, press releases, pitches, executive briefing materials, and other communications tools. 
  • Knowledge of and interest in the NFL, current events and trends in sports media, marketing, and business. 
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and strong multi-tasking skills. 
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities to promote the NFL, employing cutting edge communications tools and strategies.

Senior Creative Director – NFL

You will be responsible for raising and maintaining the highest quality of creative work across campaigns that include dozens of critical league initiatives reporting up to the Head of Creative and Content Marketing . In addition, you will collaborate with our lead agency on specific campaigns including the Super Bowl and Cause Marketing (i.e. Inspire Change). You will also be considered a thought leader that regularly engages with our SVP of Marketing, CMO and other internal stakeholders in addition to support ing the growth and development of our people on the Marketing team .
