Creative Lead – Chelsea

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Creative Lead to manage the design team that is responsible for sales presentations to drive new business commercial revenue and supporting the partnership team for significant retention of revenue on partnership assets and activation strategies.

Duties include:

  • Management of a team of junior and mid-weight designers.
  • Responsibility for periodic creation of new sales presentations to Go-To-Market for key assets such as Shirt or Sleeve, giving each presentation a fresh look and incorporating brand styles;
  • Visualisation skills on how to display the brief, set against a commercial framework and backdrop;
  • Interpreting and evolving the design brief, providing more than one option at initial creation, where appropriate, to achieve high quality;
  • Ability to plot numerical data and information on a page in different styles that can be visually appealing and dynamic to stakeholders;
  • Ensuring the team maintain an up-to-date image catalogue that supports build of presentations;
  • Capacity planning for incoming briefs, ensuring deadlines are met and proactive solutions offered when capacity is stretched;
  • Implementation and stakeholder management with suppliers for design tools used by the team;
  • Establishing and maintaining optimal process management to allow for smooth day-to-day running of the function and efficiencies;
  • Integration of motion and animation into presentation slides.
  • Overseeing the creation of partner assets for TV interview backdrop boards, stadium LED signage, big-screen advertising and digital communications;
  • Maintaining relationship with Marketing creative studio and applying latest brand guidelines to design materials; and
  • Managing print and digital requirements and ensuring design assets are to the appropriate scaling and sizing.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • Extensive proven agency or in-house experience
  • Experience manging a team.
  • Implementation and management of design tools (desirable)
  • Essential – Advanced PowerPoint skills for design and presentation purposes and experience of using this in prior roles as a main design platform.
  • Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Self-starter and proactive, offering solutions where gaps are observed.
  • Excellent time management skills and willingness to be flexible with working hours, subject to key deadlines.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good relationship, communication and interpersonal skills

Senior Creative Director – NFL

You will be responsible for raising and maintaining the highest quality of creative work across campaigns that include dozens of critical league initiatives reporting up to the Head of Creative and Content Marketing . In addition, you will collaborate with our lead agency on specific campaigns including the Super Bowl and Cause Marketing (i.e. Inspire Change). You will also be considered a thought leader that regularly engages with our SVP of Marketing, CMO and other internal stakeholders in addition to support ing the growth and development of our people on the Marketing team .

Responsibilities

  • Write in an engaging, informed and charming way to help solve challenging problems 
  • Help lead development of best in class creative marketing ideas across key league initiatives 
  • Partner and collaborate effectively w/ our agency partners – both creative and media 
  • Develop ideas that cut across any and all platforms (broadcast, social / digital, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES…

  • Work closely with Creative Strategists and our Fan Intelligence department to conduct internal and external creative workshops to collaboratively develop insight driven creative campaigns 
  • Bring to life ambitious creative ideas, translating them into compelling print materials, digital experiences and content experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
  • Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, inspiring our clients to purchase 
  • Be an agency expert in creative market trends, visual communication, and the competitive landscape to inspire everyone in the agency to produce great work
  • Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of creative campaign messaging and deliverables.
  • Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE…

Must have:

Senior Creative Producer – Formula 1

At F1, we are continually driving further to deliver the same end goal; To unleash the greatest racing spectacle on the planet.

So that we can reach these elite-level standards set, Formula 1 are seeking a Senior Creative Producer to support the Executive Producer and Head of Creative Media in the planning, creation and development of Formula 1’s video output. 

Reporting to the Head of Creative Media, the Senior Creative Producer will take a leading role in the creative direction of F1’s in-house video content with particular emphasis on project management. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support the Executive Producer and Head of Creative Media in the planning, creation and development of Formula 1’s video output, with particular emphasis on high-end promotional content, broadcast features, internal corporate videos and long-form programming.
  • To manage the entire production process on multiple projects, leading the team in raising stories, scheduling and planning shoots, coordinating editors and researchers, liaising with internal and external clients and ensuring projects are completed to deadline.
  • Ensure that projects are fully compliant with F1’s internal policies and procedures.
  • To supervise work being undertaken by Editors and junior Producers, providing guidance and creative vision, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
  • To oversee the final content production, ensuring that all the appropriate elements are technically sound and factually accurate.
  • To occasionally travel to race events or other film shoots to organise and produce video content on the field, if required.

THE TEAM

Airspeeder and our manufacturing arm, Alauda Aeronautics, are building electric flying racing cars to help accelerate innovation and advancements in the future of transportation. We are talented team of professionals with backgrounds in racing, aviation and technology. We’ve been designing, manufacturing, and flying our “speeders” since 2016.
Following a successful year, we are expanding our team and preparing for an eventful 2022. Soon our pilots and team will compete in our recently launched EXA racing series, conduct our first manned flight, run several global racing events, and much more.

THE ROLE

Airspeeder and Alauda Aeronautics is seeking a sport minded Creative Director who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high standard of design excellence for all visual aspects of the Airspeeder and Alauda Aeronautics brand including, but not limited to sports broadcast, mixed reality direction and digital properties. The Creative Director will set the visual tone for the EXA, Alauda and Airspeeder properties to elevate fan perception, brand and content themes.

The Creative Director will provide leadership and direction for the conceptual development, design and production of video and digital assets for use in broadcast, presentation, and digital/social media. Your influence on these projects will define the visual identity to our audience, external partners and internal stakeholders.

The position requires a highly organized and thoughtful individual ready to be a hands-on leader that can inspire the team from every aspect of the company to thrive creatively. This is a role designed for someone wanting to be involved in all aspects of managing creative design. It also requires an organised mindset capable of giving creative direction across events, inside game engines, video output and photography.

We want you to demonstrate experience in sport and/or a keen interest in the frontiers of technology.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative & Marketing

  • Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Plan and oversee the development of all company creative campaigns and assets including advertisements, visual media, marketing campaigns, plus other creative aspects.
  • Meet with upper management to explain campaign strategies and solutions.
  • Liaise with stakeholder counterparts at IWC, Telstra and Nvidia to launch joint creative campaigns.

  • Minimum 5 years’ digital experience including; web, social and emerging technologies.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a successful Creative Director, managing and overseeing a range of creative positions
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with stakeholders on all levels
