Content Producer – The FA

Look no further. We have an exciting opportunity available for a Content Producer on a fixed-term basis, who will plan, produce and lead content execution of our brand strategy related to the Emirates FA Cup and Vitality Women’s FA Cup across owned and operated channels.

What will you be doing?

  • Work collaboratively with our in-house video creative team to plan and execute industry-leading social content – driving engagement and positive sentiment.
  • Remain up to date with new trends/behaviours on social media (primary focus on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram) and translate this into content campaigns throughout the season.
  • Create and own editorial content plans, working alongside a wide range of stakeholders, such as The FA’s brand, communications, commercial teams and external agencies.
  • Daily management of The FA’s social media channels, including analysis and optimisation of content to maximise reach, engagement, and community management.
  • Lead on the live delivery of content across events, matchdays, round weekends, media days, club/player shoots and cup finals.
  • Lead role in supporting and harnessing daily relationships with our external creative and content agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced in-house web team on editorial output and opportunities to drive users to owned platforms.
  • Identify and action opportunities to drive interest from our social media platforms to our OTT broadcast ecosystem, The FA Player, driving conversion and demonstrating the value of subscription service.
  • Analyse social insights on content, channel, and campaign performance, sharing learnings and continually adapting best practices with key stakeholders.
  • Integral member of various cross-functional working groups to provide content and social support with wider business objectives, particularly related to the growth of the FA Cup.
  • Represent the competitions team in related and regular in-house and external meetings.
  • Support our communications team with aligned and agreed external messaging.
  • Support our broadcast team with the delivery of value-adding propositions for domestic and international rightsholders.
  • Work collaboratively with The FA’s commercial content team to deliver B2B output that engages and entertains audiences.

Our Organisation

The Football Association [The FA] is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. Live Content Correspondent – NFL

The Live Content Correspondent is part of the Live Content Correspondent (LCC) program at the NFL that places creative and social media-minded Videographers and Photographers in every NFL market to capture content for NFL stakeholders as needed, 365 days a year.

Summary/Objective

This role requires a candidate who has a passion for football, advanced videography and/or photography skills, editing skills and extensive experience capturing sports/live content.

Each LCC will capture video and/or photo content using their own camera equipment. Content will be shared across the NFL Media ecosystem.

The main responsibilities of the LCC will be to capture high-quality videos and images at NFL and Club games (in-market), events and select activations.

We are hiring LCCs in select NFL markets .

During the season, you will work all home games and may work non-gameday events. Depending on performance and availability, you may have the opportunity to work at NFL and Club events in the off-season.

This is a part-time non exempt position that will report to the NFL Live Content Correspondent team. To work as an LCC you must have a flexible schedule that will allow you to shoot NFL events as needed.

  • Capture and edit best-in-class video and/or photo content from games and events you are assigned to cover.

Director International Content EMEA – PGA TOUR

Responsible for driving fan growth in key international markets for the PGA TOUR across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Through the creation of marketing plans in collaboration with colleagues in the International Content team, this position will develop and implement strategies to position the PGA TOUR as the world’s leading professional golf tour throughout the EMEA region. This position will also focus on the development and implementation of content and PR plans to drive PGA TOUR fan growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, Journalism or Communications preferred.
  • Ten years of experience in driving fan growth and customer engagement in the EMEA region
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns with measurable results, inclusive of activations on social media platforms

Communications Manager – Manchester City

A key role in the communications team, the Communications Manager will be responsible for communicating City Football Group’s commercial, partner-focused and some corporate activities. Areas of particular focus will include the Group’s partners and fans, requiring a sound knowledge and understanding of the Group’s range of assets, products and infrastructure.

Head of Media Access and Content Delivery – Premier League

The Media Department at the Premier League are looking for a Head of Media Access and Content Delivery to oversee their access and content delivery function.The Head of Media Access and Content Delivery will provide oversight and direction to ensure the Premier League delivers a best-in-class player and manager access framework to all domestic and international broadcasting partners. This will include direct management of the access team to include strategic guidance, leadership on issue resolution and the setting and assessing of clear and measurable objectives. This role will also encompass the day-to-day management (and associated governance procedures) of the relevant sections of the Premier League Rule Book.Furthermore, the Head of Media Access and Content Delivery, will act as a content lead within the Media Department, will work alongside the senior team at Premier League Productions (PLP) to continually improve the quality and breadth of international programming.The Head of Media Access and Content Delivery will constantly be aware of the innovation and development of content strategies to drive improvement in the Premier League offering (both owned and operated and via third parties).This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team of broadcasting experts at the Premier League.   • Content Development – constantly be aware of the innovation and development of new content/programming strands to drive improvement and engagement in the Premier League offering.
  • Access – work to continually improve all access arrangements made available to rights holders. Further, oversee the delivery of the Section K access programme and the associated reporting.
  • Broadcaster liaison – build and develop excellent working relationships with senior contacts at domestic and international broadcast partners, and PLP. Support on the strategic management of those relationships.
  • Club liaison – act as senior point of contact for Clubs concerning all access and content related elements of the Rule book. Importantly, build, develop and maintain strong relationships with senior Club personnel across communications and content.
  • Oversee the delivery of regular meetings with senior Club contacts, covering shared strategic goals, content sharing, access, and any general broadcast updates and issue resolution.
  • Events – provide access oversight to any relevant Premier League events to include pre-season tournaments, trophy lift, eSports, Hall of Fame, broadcaster briefings and media access days.
  • Activation – work with the Media Sales function to direct the access team on support for international rights holder’s utilisation and promotion across all global territories.
  • Production – account manage the digital clips production facility.

Requirements For The Role

  • Significant experience working in a sports media or Club communications, media or content role. The ideal candidate would have experience in multiple areas.
  • Demonstrable experience of innovative and progressive thinking in previous roles.
  • Experience of managing people in a high-output team.
  • A knowledge of / interest in football / sport and the workings of organisations involved in the industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of either Club communications and media delivery or broadcast content planning and delivery.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure and a keen, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Be a strong project manager, who can motivate others around them.
  • First-class Microsoft Office skills (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and deadlines, taking pride in the quality of work produced.

Required Experience & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of digital or social media experience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies to optimize engagement.

  • Intimate understanding for the game of basketball and the team including game day events, statistics, etc.
