Intertek Partner with FIM to Provide Fuel Testing Services

Intertek, troche a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to a wide range of industries worldwide, sale ed has become an official partner of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) the governing body of Motorcycling, and will provide fuel testing services for FIM race events.

Starting with the FIM 2012 motorcycle race season, Intertek is the exclusive provider of testing services related to fuel quality and compliance, supporting official FIM fuel specifications and technical regulations.

Intertek fuel quality experts and mobile testing labs will provide key testing services at the race tracks, and will be supported by a global network of world-class fuel testing laboratories. Intertek personnel will also be on-site at selected FIM events, at Superbike, Motocross, Endurance and other Disciplines, where real-time on-track fuel compliance testing will be performed.

As part of the partnership, Intertek will also assist FIM by helping keep FIM fuel regulations up-to-date with developing quality and testing standards.
