April 30, 2012

Major League Soccer (MLS) team, Chivas USA, has partnered with the Boy Scouts of America Council in the Los Angeles area.

Through the council’s focus on healthy living, Los Angeles Area Scouts will be provided access to MLS players, coaches, league and club executives, and unique programming tailored just for them. Plans include on-field activities, a ceremony at Home Depot Center, and “Scout Nights” that support the local council’s recruiting and retention efforts.

The first Chivas USA Scout Night is scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2012 at 8:00 pm. Print, website and television marketing opportunities have also been made available to the council, as well as VIP events to take place later this year.

“As a team vested in the community we are proud to have partnered with the Boy Scouts Los Angeles Area Council on this great community partnership, this yearlong campaign will create awareness for the Boy Scouts of America programs and initiatives,” commented Luis Rivera, Director of Business Development and Community Affairs.”
