Malaysian GP Draws Big European Audiences

In Germany, RTL drew 5.44 million viewers and a share of 44.8% for the race, which started at 09:00 CET – second biggest audience of the day in Germany excluding news.

Antena 3 in Spain averaged 2.559 million and a share of 41.3%.

March Madness on CBS Wins Saturday Night

NCAA basketball action won Saturday night in the USA for the CBS network.

The coverage averaged a rating of 1.8 and a share of 6% with 5.71 million viewers between 20:00 and 22:00 to top the primetime ratings race.

The conclusion of the basketball action did even better between 22:00 and 22:30 with a rating of 2.8 and a share of 9%, averaging 8.48 million viewers.

Sochi Skating Event Scores In Dutch Ratings

Sports programming pulled 10 of the top 25 audiences on Dutch television Sunday, with speed skating, cycling, basketball and volleyball all drawing decent numbers on public channel Ned 1.

The top event was the Essent ISU World Single Distances Speed Skating Championships in Sochi, Russia, airing at 14:15.

The men’s 500 metres race did best with 1.338 million viewers and a share of 45.0% – 10th biggest audience of any programme
