PreGame Lacrosse Partners with a Number of Lacrosse Teams

PreGame Lacrosse has partnered with a number of top Lacrosse organizations across America to provide an array of evaluating and recruiting services to high school lacrosse players.

The partnerships will allow the PreGame Lacrosse staff of professional coaches to provide a number of their services to the club teams including individual player evaluation, capsule recruiting educational seminars and workshops. Additionally, PreGame will provide college lacrosses recruiting consulting services, team tryout support and observation and single day events at club locations.

English Ryman League team Canvey Island Football Club has signed a new sponsorship deal with local business SX Heating & Plumbing.

Under the terms of the deal, the squad has now been kitted out with stylish new match day tracksuits from Venom Sport, complete with the SX Heating & Plumbing branding emblazoned on the back. Tiger Woods Ties Sponsorship Deal with Sports Nutrition Company

Malta FA Extend Association with Bank of Valetta

The Bank of Valletta and the Malta Football Association have signed a new three-year agreement through which the Bank is recognised as the official sponsor of the national leagues and the Super Cup, ailment covering this season and the next two seasons.

It is the third consecutive sponsorship agreement that the Bank has signed with the MFA.

It was signed at a news conference by Tonio Depasquale, allergist Bank of Valletta CEO and Michael Galea, Chief Officer Operations at the Bank, and Norman Darmanin Demajo, president of the Malta FA, and Antoine Portelli, MFA treasurer.

Depasquale said the Bank was pleased to be contributing towards the development of football in Malta.

He also said that for the first time, a new feature of the agreement will be the sponsorship of the women’s league. “This will widen the Bank’s involvement in all sectors of Maltese football,” he said. “It is a pillar of the Bank of Valletta’s Community programme. We are delighted that the clubs are benefiting directly from this sponsorship enabling them to further invest in the development of players and the game.

“We are also pleased to hear that attendances are on the increase confirming the game as the most popular sport on these islands,” said Depasquale.

He wished the MFA every success and said that the Bank was looking forward to continue to work closely with the association and to support its efforts to promote the game in Malta.

The MFA president Demanjo said: “This sponsorship consists mostly of direct aid to the clubs in the national leagues. But this agreement also covers the BoV Monthly Player Award and the branding of the Bank at the Ta’ Qali Stadium apart from other things. It is sure to benefit both the Bank and the MFA.”

He also praised Depasquale who will soon be retiring as the Bank’s CEO, saying that he will be leaving behind a legacy which goes beyond the sponsorship agreement. “We negotiated mainly with this true gentleman. And thanks to the Bank’s support, we could make a revolution in our infrastructure at Ta’ Qali and other venues,” he added.

Darmanin Demajo continued: “At a time when new regulations regarding Financial Fair Play are being introduced for all European clubs, the Bank’s continued support for Maltese football is welcomed and appreciated by the MFA on behalf of all its member clubs, who are the ultimate beneficiaries of this sponsorship.”

Darmanin Demajo concluded by saying that the MFA remains committed to raise the level of the game and to continue to upgrade the facilities at the stadia for the benefit of the players and the local sports enthusiasts.

Puma Renew Deal with Swiss FA

PUMA have announced today it has extended its contract with the Swiss Football Association (SFV). 

The global Sportlifestyle brand will continue to be the official technical partner to the SFV and licensed partner in relation to replica kits, pills fanwear and other merchandise, ed through the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA EURO 2016.  On the day of the announcement, medic PUMA also launched the new home kit ahead of the Swiss national team’s fixture against The Netherlands in Amsterdam on Friday night.

Red Bull Racing Secure One-Race Deal with French Magazine

Red Bull Racing is pleased to announce it has agreed a one-race Team
Partnership with French newspaper, L’Equipe, for the forthcoming Abu Dhabi
Grand Prix.
As part of the agreement, L’Equipe branding will feature on both Red Bull
Racing Formula One cars on the rear wing endplate and on the driver overalls,

Fined for Wearing Brand Tuilagi Becomes New Face of Company

After controversially being fined for wearing a visibly branded OPRO mouthguard at the Rugby World Cup, England’s Manu Tuilagi has signed a four-year partnership with OPRO.

The 20-year-old Leicester Tigers player will become an ambassador for the company, now known throughout the world as the manufacturer of the branded mouthguards that both Manu and his brother Alesana chose to wear during their matches while playing for England and Samoa respectively.

OPRO, which has recently launched a new sportswear division called OPRO360, has expressed its delight to have Manu on board. 

Richard Evans, OPRO sales director, said: “We had been looking for a face of OPRO for some time and Manuis an exciting young player. He is the right ambassador for us at the right time.” 

When news of the fines imposed by the IRB on the Tuilagi brothers broke, OPRO was accused of ambush marketing, a claim strenuously denied by Dr Anthony Lovat, OPRO’s founder and managing director, who said that as a professional organisation OPRO would never engage in such conduct. 

As a firm believer in the OPRO brand, Manu decided to continue wearing his mouthguard for the remainder of England’s World Cup games. 

However, in order to avoid further fines he coloured in the entire front of the mouthguard in black marker pen. 

Manu explains: “My OPRO mouthguard is the most comfortable one I have ever worn and because it stays so well in my mouth it means I’m not even aware I have it in.”

Boston Bruins Goalie Tim Thomas Signs Deal with Insurance Group
