Rolex to Remain Davis Cup Tennis Sponsor

The Internation Tennis Federation announced today that Rolex will continue as an international sponsor of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.

Rolex first joined the Davis Cup family of sponsors in 2007 and is the Official Timekeeper of Davis Cup.

Scottish Golf Union Extends TaylorMade-adidas Sponsorship

The Scottish Golf Union has renewed it’s partnership with TaylorMade-adidas Golf by signing a ground breaking four-year sponsorship agreement to support the Scotland national golf squads.

Having worked in partnership with TaylorMade-adidas Golf since 2001, the new agreement will see the Scotland team at Men’s and Boys’ level wearing adidas apparel and footwear at international events until the end of 2016, with continued supply of TaylorMade equipment and accessories for squad players at national level.

Both brands will be represented alongside Aberdeen Asset Management as the SGU’s Official Scotland Team Partners, with squad players also benefitting from additional support and advice from the world leading TMAG staff team.

Welsh Cycling Energised with Ultimate Sport Nutrition Sponsorship

Welsh Cycling has announced a new commercial partnership with leading sports nutrition brand Ultimate Sport Nutrition (USN). 

The 3 year agreement which will run until 2015 will see USN secure naming rights to the Welsh Cycling managed UCI Track Cycling World Cup team, as well as becoming Official Supplier of nutritional products to the national governing body.

USN has joined forces with Welsh Cycling to become the principle partner of the newly formed elite track team competing in the UCI Track Cycling World Cup series. The partnership means the track team debut as Team USN in the Glasgow leg of the series on Nov 16-18, with the sponsorship providing essential funding alongside expert nutritional advice and the supply of vital nutritional products as the team compete against the world’s best track cyclists.

The track team boasts some of the sport’s most exciting prospects, with the likes of world junior time trial champion Elinor Barker, double world junior track championship medallist Amy Roberts and Ciara Horne. Audi of America announced today that it will return as the official automotive sponsor of the U.S. Ski Team.

As a returning sponsor, Audi will continue to support the U.S. Ski Team’s athletes for the next five years, while supplying Audi vehicle transportation in the United States and Europe for teams including alpine, freestyle and nordic.

As part of Audi’s continued commitment to World Cup skiing, Audi will remain as title sponsor of the Audi Birds of Prey Race Week at Beaver Creek Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2013. Adel Taarabt Speeds Off with New Zoom Sponsorship

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt has gained Zoom Technology, the Dubai-based global IT distribution company, as a new sponsor.

Taarabt, known as the Moroccan Magician, has made headlines this season with a string of notable performances for the London squad. 

Zoom, which has offices in Dubai and Hong Kong, hopes the sponsorship deal with the player will raise its profile as it seeks to expand operations. 

The deal was done after company CEO James Norris met Taarabt on QPR’s pre-season tour of Malaysia and Indonesia. 

“Natural ability and endless talent were the key factors in Zoom partnering with Adel,” said Norris. 

“Adel has an immensely bright future, he is a role model and exactly the kind of individual we want to be associated with, particularly as we now focus our efforts into new geographies – the Middle East and North Africa region being key.”

LPGA’s Brittany Lincicome Strikes CME Group as New Sponsor

Lloyd & Partners Limited (LPL), an independent insurance brokerage, has announced a new two year sponsorship agreement with British Skeleton, which will see LPL support the British Skeleton team through to the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014.

East Coast Bullbars Gets Naming Rights to Australian Rally Championship

The Australian Rally Championship has announced East Coast Bullbars will be the new naming rights sponsor for the 2013 ARC.

The East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship will kick off at the new National Capital Rally in Canberra on the first weekend in March marking a new era in the sport.

Current naming rights sponsor Bosch has regretfully decided to conclude its relationship with the championship after two years.

CEO of the Bosch ARC, symptoms Scott Pedder says Bosch has been instrumental in the growth of the ARC over the past two years and thanks the company for its support while welcoming East Coast Bullbars on board as the new name on the top of the ARC billing.
