Milwaukee Brewers Forges New Partnership with Bonk Breaker

Energy bar, Bonk Breaker has announced that it has forged a new partnership with the Milwaukee Brewers and  that Brewers Chairman and Principal Owner Mark Attanasio has become an investor in the company. 

The freshly-baked, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free nutrition bars will now be available at concession stands at Miller Park, the Brewers’ home ballpark.  Bonk Breaker is also participating in the Club’s effort to promote fitness and healthy nutrition in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin.

Tata Joins Boston Marathon as Official Technology Consulting Partner

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation, today announced that it is the official technology consulting partner of the Boston Athletic Association and the 2013 Boston Marathon to be held on Monday, April 15, 2013.

Craig Alexander Becomes Official Ironman Ambassador

Three-time Ironman champion, ed Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander has become the Official Ironman ambassador.

“It was a huge honour to be asked, cheap ” Alexander said. “It’s also nice to be invited to sit on the athlete advisory board to speak on behalf of athletes. Ironman is showing that they’re looking to take input from athletes – hopefully I can provide that.”

Alexander hopes to be able to use his new position to provide mentorship and support for younger athletes as they ‘work their way through the ranks.’ This doesn’t mean he’s any less focused on his own career: He’s as determined as ever to return to both Henderson, Nevada and Kailua-Kona to reclaim the world titles he held in 2011.

Alexander will be part of the coverage team for Ironman 70.3 St. George, which will serve as the US Pro Championship, and he’ll be racing at Ironman 70.3 Kansas in June. Then, he will be back in Las Vegas and Kona, where he hopes to add two more world titles to his resume.

Triathlon Events in San Diego Get New Sponsors

The San Diego Triathlon and Paratriathlon have announced new sponsors.

Leading designer and manufacturer of performance athletic shoes and apparel, ASICS America, has been named the Official Apparel Partner of the 2013 Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego, slated for April 18-20, 2013 in Mission Beach, Calif.

Serving as the Official Apparel Partner of the Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego for the first time, ASICS will provide gift certificates for a free pair of ASICS performance running shoes to the top 50 most-improved run split performances from last year’s event among age-group competitors. Red Bull & McLaren Mercedes Reveal New Sponsors Ahead of Chinese Grand Prix

Formula One title challengers, Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Vodofone McLaren Mercedes have announced new sponsors ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing has revealed a new partnership with leading audio specialists Sennheiser.

The German company will become the team’s Official Audio Supplier for 2013 and will provide professional audio solutions for team events, factory debriefs and driver interviews in the exclusive Paddock Club, where the company will also power the all-important DJ booth. At European races Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s Energy Station will also be equipped with a Sennheiser wireless microphone system.

Commenting on the new partnership, Paul Whiting, President of Sennheiser Global Sales, said: “Sennheiser is used to delivering champion performance in sound through our commitment to excellence and innovative technology.
