Royal Purple to Title Sponsor Las Vegas Bowl

American lubricants manufacturer Royal Purple has been announced as title sponsor of the Las Vegas Bowl for the next three years.

The popular college football bowl takes place each year a few days before Christmas at Sam Boyd Stadium and has become a tradition for many locals to attend.

The 2013 Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl, featuring a Pac-12 team against the top selection from the Mountain West Conference, will take place on Dec. 21 this year. Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m.

Royal Purple, which is located in Porter, Texas, produces a wide range of high-performance lubricants for nearly every consumer and industrial application.

Last year’s bowl game attracted more than 33,000 fans and earned the third-highest TV rating in the game’s history.

“Today marks a wonderful new alignment between our bowl, our city and Royal Purple,” said the bowl’s executive director, Dan Hanneke, in a release. “Our event will only continue to grow with the addition of a great title sponsor and we can’t wait for the 22nd edition of the game, which is now just three months away.”

Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing Reveals New Primary Sponsor for Grand Prix of Houston

Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing (SFHR) has announced a new primary sponsor for its No. 67 entry for the Grand Prix of Houston’s doubleheader with Strike, denture LLC, a leading single-source North American energy services provider, coming on board.

Fresh off a second place finish at the Grand Prix of Baltimore, SFHR’s All-American driver Josef Newgarden will represent the red, white and blue color scheme of Strike in his debut on Houston’s 10-turn, 1.683-mile temporary street circuit on Oct. 5-6.

ATP Signs New Ice Wrap Partner

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) have announced a new partnership with PROSERIES with their Ice Wraps brand to become the Official Ice Wrap of the ATP World Tour.

Throught the deal the sports medicine company will receive worldwide marketing rights in a two-year affiliation until 2015. PROSERIES will also be an official supplier of the ATP World Tour and will provide products as required.

Quicken Loans to Sponsor Nascar’s Richard Childress Racing

Quicken Loans, an American online home lender, has announced it will join Richard Childress Racing (RCR) for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and serve as the primary sponsor of Ryan Newman’s No. 31 Chevrolet SS for 12 races and associate sponsor for all remaining races.

The move continues a strong partnership between Quicken Loans and Newman, whom they first sponsored in 2012.

“Ryan has shown that he is not only an incredible race car driver, but also someone with great integrity and class,” said Jay Farner, President and Chief Marketing Officer of Quicken Loans. “The way Ryan has handled some very tough situations this year, while also continuing to ignore the noise and perform at a high-level, made our decision to stick with him a no-brainer. Gillette Signs New RFL Sponsorship

The Rugby Football League (RFL) have announced a two-year extension to their decade-long partnership with personal care brand, buy cialis Gillette.

The deal will see Gillette continue as England’s main sponsor for Rugby League World Cup 2013, click when its logo will feature on the national team’s playing strip. 

The partnership also enters its second decade with a fresh focus and significant investment from Gillette to improve the quality of coaching at the grassroots of Rugby League in the UK. 

The agreement comes as a boost ahead of the RLWC2013 and the Gillette-funded coaching programme is designed capitalise on the excitement of the home World Cup, pharmacy increasing the standard of youth development, resulting in a better quality of home grown players to progress into the England ranks.

EMC Sponsors NFL International Series at Wembley

The National Football League’s (NFL) International Series have retained a sponsor from last year’s events with EMC Corporation coming board for the Wembley events. 

As part of the deal EMC, who sponsored last year’s event, will also continue to support Super Bash, the NFL’s official UK Super Bowl party, and nfluk.com, the NFL’s official UK website.

After six successful International Series games at Wembley since 2007, the NFL is staging two regular-season games at Wembley in 2013, with the Minnesota Vikings hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, September 29 and the Jacksonville Jaguars facing the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 27. The Jaguars will also play a home game in each of the three subsequent seasons, 2014-16.

Jimmy John’s Sponsors Nascar’s Kevin Harvick

Sandwich restaurant chain Jimmy John’s will be the primary sponsor for Kevin Harvick as he moves from Richard Childress Racing to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, health the company and team announced Tuesday.

The American franchise will sponsor 12 of Harvick’s races after sponsoring eight this year. As a result, capsule Harvick is nearly totally funded for 2014.

Budweiser previously announced it would move to SHR with Harvick as well, pills sponsoring 20 races in 2014.

With 20 races from Budweiser, 12 from Jimmy John’s and two from Outback Steakhouse, that leaves just four events (36 points races plus the preseason Sprint Unlimited and the all-star race) open on Harvick’s car next season.

Jimmy John’s also will be an associate sponsor for Tony Stewart, who will join Harvick as a spokesman for the company.

AFL Inks New Virgin Australia Partnership

The Australian Football League have announced a renewed multi-year partnership with Virgin Australia until 2018. 

The League’s official airline since January 2011, Virgin Australia was called in as naming rights partner of the Grand Final Half Time Show, the post-match Premiership Party and the Grand Final Week Party this year.

AFL chief Andrew Demetriou commented on the deal: “There’s no question the AFL and the broader Australian football community has benefitted enormously from the partnership we’ve enjoyed with Virgin Australia since 2011.”

“We’re delighted that the partnership has been extended for a further five year period which illustrates the commitment from both organisations and the value we place in Virgin Australia as a key partner.”

Virgin Australia chief executive John Borghetti echoed Demetriou’s sentiments, saying the partnership had strengthened.

“The AFL players are some of the most frequent flyers in the country and it is therefore a huge vote of confidence in Virgin Australia that they were keen to extend our partnership,” Borghetti said.

“We look forward to continuing to provide the AFL with the best possible travel experience and working together to support its large Australian fan base.”

Virgin Australia has provided thousands of extra seats for finals footy fans.

“They have raised the level of service for our supporters and our clubs and continue to bolster the football-related travel and tourism sector throughout the country,” Demetriou said.

The airline has also played a major part in instituting the Any Game Anywhere initiative – the AFL’s travel service which enables fans to tailor travel packages, tickets and accommodation.

Specsavers Joins 2013 Rugby League World Cup as Official Optician Partner

As part of the deal it has also agreed to become the Official Sponsor of the Match Officials for the Tournament.
