Raycom Media to Title Sponsor Camelia Bowl

The inaugural Camelia Bowl has a new title sponsor with Raycom Media coming on board the college football game.

The announcement was made during a Camellia Bowl tailgate party Wednesday night.

The first Camellia Bowl will be played in December 2014 and will come under the Raycom banner for a three year period.

“Anytime that a local company is willing to step up at the level they’re stepping up to, stuff being a title sponsor, discount that exudes confidence in the capability of our community and the organisation to have a successful bowl game, vialis 40mg ” Montgomery mayor Todd Strange said at a launch event on Wednesday.

Ghost Armor Sponsors Phoenix Suns

With the NBA season underway, Phoenix Suns and WNBA’s and Phoenix Mercury have announced a new multi-year marketing partnership agreement with Ghost Armor.

Founded in Phoenix in 2007, Ghost Armor was established to provide consumers with protection for their electronic devices and gadgets. 

Ghost Armor will now provide those same exclusive services to fans at US Airways Center, including Ghost Armor installation on select electronic devices and VIP seat delivery. A Ghost Armor kiosk will be located outside Section 113 where fans will have the opportunity to have protective armor installed on their electronic device during games, and then have their gadget delivered to their seat once the installation is complete.

“Our new partnership with Ghost Armor epitomizes the growing correlation between technology and the fan experience here at US Airways Center,” said Suns President, Jason Rowley.  “I’m thrilled that we have built a relationship with a business that shares our commitment to staying at the forefront of that trend by providing a high-quality service to our guests.”

Ghost Armor will also receive brand exposure on the 360-degree LED ring during games, as well as the section ring located in between the upper and lower levels of the arena which is displayed during all events at US Airways Center- stating “Ghost Armor, Protecting Home Court”.

Heineken Extends Champions League Sponsorship

Dutch brewery Heineken has extended its sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League for a further three years according to Reuters.

The global beer brand has been a sponsor of the prestigious tournament and UEFA since 2005 and the new renewal will take their partnership into 2018.

The new deal will increase the time Heineken is shown on LED boards around the ground to 13 minutes from a previous nine. The boards will also be used in the future in group phase matches.

Heineken will also have quicker access to images, enhancing its social media such as a live Twitter feed linked to matches.

“As Heineken is available in 220 countries in the world and so is the UEFA Champions League, this platform really is to build the Heineken brand worldwide,” said Heineken’s global activation manager, Hans-Erik Tuijt.

Unlike rivals, such as Carlsberg, Heineken does not sponsor teams or individuals.

The Champions League is the most watched annual sporting event. The total audience is estimated at 4.2 billion, with more than 1 billion people watching around four matches per season and half of that audience outside Europe.

“The number of Brazilian players playing in the Champions League is significant, and of Argentinian players is significant, and Asians love to watch this great football,” said UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein.

Other current sponsors are adidas, Ford, Gazprom, MasterCard, Sony’s PlayStation and UniCredit, with HTC as another supplier. There are reports that UEFA might look to add an airline as a seventh sponsor.

Southern Ford Dealers to Sponsor Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed a four year four-year sponsorship deal with Southern Ford Dealers.

PSG Confirms Qatar Tourism Authority Partnership

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed their historical partnership with the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) with the deal reportedly to be €150 million ($198.5m).

This partnership links QTA and Paris Saint-Germain for the long term, decease providing an opportunity for Qatar to capitalize on the power and reach of sports to promote its numerous tourism assets.

Qatar attracts leading sports events to the country each year – such as the ATP and WTA tennis tournaments, asthma the cycling Tour of Qatar and the MotoGP. In 2015, view Qatar will also host the Handball World Championship, in 2016 it will play host to the Cycling World Championships and of course the FIFA Football World Cup in 2022.

QTA will use Paris Saint-Germain to reach the French and other European markets.

Goodyear Becomes Official Tire of U.S. Ski & Snowboard Association

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has selected Goodyear as the official tire of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing.

As part of the deal, Team athletes will be able to travel to their training destinations on top performing tires, such as the Goodyear Ultra Grip winter tires and Goodyear Assurance tires.

NBA Extends Partnerships with Sears & Under Armour

The NBA has extended their partnerships with department store Sears and sports apparel brand Under Armour.

The Sears brand is set to return as the title sponsor of Shooting Stars at NBA All-Star, stomach while Under Armour will continue to work with the NBA to grow its line of basketball footwear.

As part of the partnership, allergy Under Armour’s endorsers – which include Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Brandon Jennings of the Detroit Pistons, Raymond Felton of the New York Knicks, Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Bobcats, Will Barton of the Portland Trail Blazers, Kent Bazemore of the Golden State Warriors, and Greivis Vasquez of the Sacramento Kings – will be featured in their NBA uniforms to promote its basketball footwear brand in national marketing campaigns and at retail.

Qantas Retains Status as Official Airline Partner of Super Rugby’s Crusaders

Australian airline Qantas has announced it has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Super Rugby Crusaders as Official Airline partner for a further two years.

Regional General Manager for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, treatment Igor Kwiatkowski said Qantas has sponsored the high performance team since March this year.

“Qantas is a proud sponsor of the Crusaders, canada pills they are a dynamic team and we’re pleased to extend our support through to 2015,” said Mr Kwiatkowski.

“And with the commencement of the Qantas and Emirates partnership in New Zealand, we’re now able to support the team with more destinations and a greater network than ever before.”

Crusaders CEO Hamish Riach added: “Partnering with an established and successful company like Qantas was really significant for us, and this two year extension provides us with even more security and certainty going forward, said Mr Riach

“It is clear that this partnership has been mutually beneficial for both Qantas and the Crusaders over the last seven months so we are extremely pleased to be committing to a further two years.”

The Crusaders are the only Super Rugby team to complete a whole season undefeated and in their 17 years of Super Rugby, they have won seven titles, been finalists 11 times and semi-finalists for 14 of the last 15 years.

Qantas currently operates more than 100 return trans-Tasman services per week, including 70 return flights per week between Australia and Auckland, 21 return flights per week between Australia and Wellington and daily flights between Sydney and Christchurch.
