J.M. Smucker to Sponsor Fishing’s FLW

FLW, the world’s premier tournament-fishing organization, has announced a sponsorship deal with the J.M. Smucker Company for the 2014 season.

The sponsorship will include four of the Company’s leading brands — Folgers, Dunkin Donuts retail coffee, Jif and Smucker’s. 

For the eighth consecutive season Scott Suggs, the 2007 Forrest Wood Cup champion, will represent Folgers on the Walmart FLW Tour and compete out of a wrapped Ranger Z520C. Folgers will also continue to sponsor the popular “Folgers Morning Takeoff” by providing free coffee before many FLW tournaments.

Mystik Lubricants Renew Title Sponsorship of Team LaVallee

Antigua Sailing Week Reveals Two New Sponsors

ADOMS and AUA College of Medicine have been announced as sponsors for Antigua Sailing Week.

Antigua and Barbuda Ship and Yacht Registry will once again be an Event Industry Partner of the Caribbean’s longest running regatta. The Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS) is the Maritime Administration of Antigua and Barbuda, operating a maritime registry offering the option to boat owners of registering their boat in Antigua and Barbuda and flying the flag worldwide.

The AUA College of Medicine is recognised by the New York State Education Department and by the Medical Board of California, allowing students to obtain residency positions in those states. The 17-acre campus in Antigua is right on the ocean and many of its students are keen water sport enthusiasts.

Greene King Remains Official Beer of Harlequins

Aviva Premiership club Harlequins have extended their sponsorship deal with brewery Greene King until the end of the 2016-17 season.

Greene King ranks among Harlequins’ long term corporate supporters having signed its first sponsorship with the club in 2003.

Under the terms of the latest three year contract extension Greene King IPA will continue as the club’s Official Beer. In addition, the brewer will join with the club in developing the “Quins’ Head” supporters’ pub facility at The Twickenham Stoop.

Greene King is the UK’s leading cask ale Brewer and has been brewing award-winning ales for over 200 years. Among the crafted ales made at its Bury St Edmunds brewery are Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Belhaven Best.

USA Rugby Reveals Serevi Partnership to Grow Rugby In America

USA Rugby and Serevi Rugby today announced a multi-year partnership aimed at growing the game of rugby in America.

Serevi, a leading provider of on-field programming for players and coaches from beginner to the U.S. National Team, will launch a national network of high performance Training Camps under the umbrella of the USA Rugby Academy – powered by Serevi. These Training Camps will identify top players and provide a specific development pathway to the men’s and women’s U.S. National Teams. 

The first-of-a-kind partnership includes programming for male and female athletes at training camps, skill-specific sessions, residential camps, and year round training centers. William Hill Extends Ayr Gold Cup Festival Sponsorship

The Ayr Gold Cup Festival, allergist Scotland’s richest and most prestigious flat meeting, has renewed its sponsorship deal with William Hill until 2016.

The bookmaking giant has sponsored the festival since 2009 and during that time the fixture has grown in stature and this year the third and final day featuring the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup was for the first time Channel 4’s showcase meeting on the day.

William Hill initially signed a three year deal with Ayr Racecourse to sponsor the Gold Cup Festival in 2009 and renewed that in 2011 with a two year deal that ended in September this year. This latest extension was welcomed by both parties.

The contract covers full naming rights of the Festival and sponsorships of the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup – Europe’s most valuable sprint handicap, the Silver and Bronze Cups, plus the Doonside Cup, Ayrshire Handicap and Kilkerran Cup.

Football Federation Australia have announced a new partnership with Hankook Tyre Australia for the tyre supplier to sponsor the Hyundai A-League.

As part of the deal, bronchi Hankook Tyre Australia’s branding will be on static billboards, animated and active LED billboards and region- and sale-specific promotion.

With an aggregate attendance of more than 10 million spectators over eight seasons, the Hyundai A-League has established itself as a prominent and growing part of Australian sporting culture.
