AFL’s St Kilda Renew LEDified Partnership

Australian Football League (AFL) team St Kilda have announced it has extended its partnership with major sponsor LEDified for a further two years.

The next generation lighting company will continue its major sponsorship of the club for the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the option of extending the deal into 2016.

The agreement will see LEDified continue to feature on the Saints’ guernsey as well as the club’s ball sponsor.

St Kilda President Peter Summers said the extension of the partnership with LEDified was a crucial development for the club ahead of the 2014 season.

Falkirk Sign New Sponsor

Scottish Championship club Falkirk FC have announced a new sponsorship deal with customer experience company, stomach Webhelp UK.

The deal will see company, which employs more than 850 at its headquarters in nearby Larbert, have its name displayed on the back of Falkirk FC’s home and away kit during the 2014/2015 season.

Rajasthan Royals Partners with Australia’s Deakin University

Rajasthan Royals have inked a new partnership with Australian education institute, doctor Deakin University.

The university will be Rajasthan Royals’ official Sports Education Partner during the upcoming Pepsi Indian Premier League 2014.

Through the association, treat the organisations will work on promoting Sports Education in India. Deakin University will initiate research in Management and Science aspects in Sports, put together a case study and offer its students IPL internships and scholarships.

Clayton Homes to Sponsor Duck Commander 500

Clayton Homes has announced they will be a partner of the Duck Commander 500, unhealthy this year’s annual spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

This race is the most-attended, physician single-day sporting event in Texas and expects a crowd of more than 150, medicine 000 on April 6.

Armin Strom Extend Deal as Official Timing Partner of Marussia F1

The Marussia F1 Team have extended their partnership with Armin Strom who will remain their Official Timing Partner for the fourth consecutive season. 

The now familiar Armin Strom logo will have a continued presence on the MR03 race car, herbal the Team’s trackside environment and on the racesuit of Max Chilton, a friend and ambassador of the brand. To underline the extent to which Formula 1 continues to form a strong part of the overall company strategy, Armin Strom has created a range of watches for international watch fair Baselworld 2014 that incorporate the same precision and composite materials used to create the Marussia F1 Team MR03 race car.

IAAF Extend Seiko Partnership Until 2019

Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko has extended its partnership with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) for a further six years. 

The renewed partnership will see Seiko provide sport timing equipment and personnel to IAAF events until 2019. Seiko have been partners of IAAF since 1985.

Shinji Hattori, chairman and group chief executive officer of Seiko Holdings said: “We are delighted to renew our IAAF partnership for a further six years. This new long-term agreement allows us the time to work with the IAAF and plan new timing and measurement technologies that will really make a difference to the athletes, the officials and the spectators. Athletics is a great sport and we are proud to have supported its development over the past three decades. We look forward to its continued success in the coming years and will do all we can to help make this happen.”

The partnership is one of the most enduring in the world of sport after originally being drawn up in 1985 for Seiko to provide timing services at the 1987 IAAF World Championships in Rome and several events in the build up to it. 

The new agreement will last until 2019 and incorporate the next three IAAF World Championships, in Beijing next year, London in 2017 and the yet to be announced event in 2019. The deal also covers 22 other events during the period, including the IAAF World Indoor Championships and the sport’s major development events, the IAAF World Junior and IAAF World Youth Championships.

Cooper Tire to Supply FIA World Rallycross Championship

The FIA World Rallycross Championship have announced today that Cooper Tire Europe will supply all 12 rounds of the Championship in a new three-year deal.

World RX, doctor which is promoted by IMG Motorsport, purchase has made a number of significant announcements over the past few months including the signing of former Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve and several broadcasters who are set to air race action live to fans across the globe.

Cooper, along with its sister brand – Avon Tyres – is the rallycross tyre of choice for competitors across the world, having supplied tyres to European Rallycross Champions for the past two decades.  In addition to World RX, Avon Tyres is also exclusive tyre supplier to the French Rallycross Championship, an agreement which began in 2013 and is set to last a further two years.

Martin Anayi, Managing Director of FIA World Rallycross Championship for IMG Motorsport, welcomed the Championship’s newest partnership: “We’re extremely excited about the inaugural World RX season and we’re thrilled to have Cooper on board for the next three years.”

BT Announced as Title Sponsor of Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon

BT have announced today they will be the title sponsor of running event, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.

The inaugural event, staged by Competitor Group Inc, will be held on May 25, 2014 for an expected 8,000 runners of all standards. 

The course itself is a scenic tour of the city, starting and finishing at the iconic waterfront and passing many famous landmarks along the way – from hallowed sports grounds like Everton FC and Liverpool FC to legendary music venues like The Cavern, and the largest collection of museums and galleries in the UK outside of London. 

To keep runners inspired along the route, there will be live bands and DJs playing everything from alternative to classic rock, punk, funk and blues along every mile of the course. At the finish line, runners and spectators will be treated to a main stage festival starring local acts.

USA BMX Announces A3 Nutrition as New Sponsor

USA BMX have announced that A3 Nutrition Bars and A3 Road Rash Ointment has become a National Series sponsor.

A3 will have a presence at all 30 events in the USA BMX National Series, arthritis and will be available for purchase at many USA BMX tracks throughout the United States. A3 will be sampling products, giving away branded merchandise, and partnering with USA BMX to spotlight an A3 “Unbreakable” Award Athlete each weekend of the national series.

FC Schalke 04 Extend Partnership with Sausage Maker

Sausage manufacturer Muhlen Gruppe has extended its partnership with FC Schalke 04 until the end of the 2016/17 season.

Through its Böklunder brand, sale the company will continue to be a premium partner of the Bundesliga team who it first partnered with in 2001.
