Volkswagen Partners with Fiorentina

Volkswagen have signed a partnership deal with ACF Fiorentina.

The German automobile manufacturers become both and Institutional and Official Automotive Partner od the Serie A team.

As part of the deal, sale a number of communication initiatives will be launched in the name of the partnership with Fiorentina and their fans. These will involve participation from some of the biggest names at the club.

Basketball’s FC Bayern Extend Deal with bwin

German Basketball Bundesliga champion FC Bayern have renewed their partnership with online gaming brand bwin.party.

The deal will extend a partnership that has been in operation since 2011 to 2016.

The operator also has a partnership with FC Bayern Basketball’s sister football club, cialis Bayern Munich.

Two New Sponsors Swoop in to Back Belkin Cycling Team

The former Belkin cycling team will be provisionally known as TEAMLottoNL next season after finalising two-year sponsorship deals with two new backers.

The Dutch squad announced at the end of July that it had agreed a “declaration of intent” with Lotto, store the Dutch lottery, and BrandLoyalty, a marketing firm, and those contracts have now been signed. 

Lotto will be the title sponsor of the team, with BrandLoyalty a sub-sponsor. However, the search for a second title sponsor continues. 

Team managing director Richard Plugge said: “Thanks to the initial support of De Lotto and BrandLoyalty, we can keep developing our vision, which is to build a new future for cycling under the motto #RideTheFuture. Right now we are still looking for a second title sponsor.” 

The deal secures the future of the cycling team, which had been under threat after Belkin announced it would be withdrawing its backing at the end of 2014.

PGA Tour Looks for New Title Sponsor for Humana Challenge

The PGA TOUR has revealed that Humana has dropped its title sponsorship of the Humana Challenge from 2015.

A search for a new sponsor already has begun and the TOUR, treatment in consultation with Desert Classic Charities and the Clinton Foundation, anesthetist is currently in active discussions with a number of prospects to become title sponsor in 2016. The future of the tournament is secure and the PGA TOUR is confident that a sponsor will be found to replace Humana.

“Humana has been a wonderful sponsor that has worked diligently to maintain and elevate this tournament through a focus on health and well-being, while continuing to have a positive economic and charitable impact on the Coachella Valley,” said PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem. “The PGA TOUR, Desert Classic Charities, and the Clinton Foundation greatly appreciate Humana’s contributions as title sponsor and look forward to working together to make the 2015 tournament a great success.”

Humana, which became title sponsor of the former Bob Hope Classic in 2012, is committed to working with the PGA TOUR, Clinton Foundation and the tournament to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the next title sponsor.

Supacore Named Official Compression Partner of Brisbane Roar

Brisbane Roar Football Club have announced Supacore as the club’s official compression partner for the upcoming season in the Hyundai A-League.

Supacore will provide compression gear for matches, training, recovery and rehabilitation to the three-time Hyundai A-League Champions throughout the 2014/15 campaign, which will also include contesting the 2015 AFC Champions League against the best teams in Asia.

The partnership was launched at Supacore’s ‘The Cost of Injury in Sport’ event in Melbourne with Brisbane Roar Managing Director Sean Dobson and club captain Matt Smith.

Precision Goalkeeping Adds to Stable with Ben Alnwick Signing

Peterborough United’s Ben Alnwick is the latest athlete to join the Precision Goalkeeping stable.

Alnwick joined Sky Bet League One’s Peterborough in the summer and has been an ever-present in Darren’s Ferguson’s side during the 2013/14 campaign.

The 27-year-old has previously represented Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient throughout his career and is another Football League custodian to wear the Precision Goalkeeping brand.

Alnwick, who gained 20 youth international caps for England between the Under-16 and Under-21 age groups, will wear the Precision Goalkeeping Brasilierao Contact Rollfinger glove, as he continues to help Posh earn a place in the Sky Bet Championship.

ESPN to Air All 32 Asia Cup Matches Across Network

ESPN Star Sports (ESS), the broadcast rights holder for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 soccer tournament, will telecast all 32 matches from the event across its network and in high definition on ESPN HD.

The games will also be available on ESS’ broadband network ESPN Player as well as mobile coverage on mobileESPN showing daily news and goals from the event.

ESS is hoping the AFC Asian Cup 2011 will be a major draw for football fans featuring teams such as World Cup representatives – Korea Republic, Japan, Australia, and DPR Korea.

India also qualified for the Asian Cup for only the third time in its history after 27 years and will play Australia in its opening fixture on Monday, January 10. 

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 features the best 16 teams in the region, including defending champions Iraq and starts this Saturday 8 January 2011. With the likes of China and India both competing in the competition, viewership for the event is expected to draw encouraging numbers.

This is the first-ever partnership between the Wild and Jack Daniel’s. 

The Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Club officially opens for business on the weekend, cialis as the Wild hosted the Winnipeg Jets in the first home preseason game of the season.

The Old. No. 7 Club sits in the place formerly held by Headwaters Restaurant and Bar on the RBC Wealth Management Club Level. The menu has been updated to include several offerings that incorporate Jack Daniel’s.
