Wilshere Approached for E-Cigarette Sponsorship Deal

October 7, 2013

Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has reportedly been approached by electronic cigarette company Neo to become the face of their advertising campaigns.

Wilshere faced the wrath of his club manager Arsene Wenger last week after a picture emerged of him smoking outside a London night club.

Reports now suggest that Neo have offered the 21 year old a six figure sum to endorse their brand and the firm’s director Estee Oren said: “As a professional footballer and a role model to millions of young fans, capsule we can understand the controversy caused by Jack puffing on a cigarette.

“So we have offered him a significant sum today to officially endorse our product as a healthier alternative to smoking.”

Wilshere scored in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at West Brom on Sunday which moved the club back to the top of the Premier League table.
