Willowton Group Renew Sponsorship of Cricket South Africa

July 31, 2012

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced that the Willowton Group would be extending its sponsorship of the Proteas’ Castle Lager squad’s home Test matches for a period of four years through their Sunfoil brand.

This follows their sponsorship of the Proteas’ home Test matches and ODI’s during the past season and the new deal will also include sponsorship of the four-day domestic competition.

In making the announcement CSA’s Acting CEO, viagra 100mg Jacques Faul, thanked SuperSport for its support of South African domestic cricket for the past 17 years. SuperSport will remain the CSA’s broadcasting partner.

SuperSport were the previous sponsors of the domestic four-day competition with this partnership having commenced during the 1995/1996 domestic cricket seasons.

CSA is now looking forward to the latest long-term deal with the Willowton Group, Sport24 reports.

“It is a well known fact that the Willowton Group is heavily committed to South African cricket at grassroots level via their support for development programmes both in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng as well as being title sponsors of the Sunfoil Dolphins franchise,” said Faul.

“They are thus now involved in all levels of our cricket right up to the pinnacle of Test match cricket. This sponsorship agreement covers no fewer than 18 Test matches against New Zealand, Pakistan, India, Australia, the West Indies and England,” he said.
