UEFA Confirms Abritel-HomeAway as Final National Sponsor of Euro 2016

UEFA has agreed a deal with Abritel-HomeAway to become the sixth and final national sponsor for UEFA EURO 2016.

The French short-term rental provider will also serve as the official fans’ accommodation service.

As part of the UEFA EURO 2016 partnership, Abritel, the French portal of the HomeAway group, is increasing its inventory of short-term rental property listings in all ten host cities in France.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director of UEFA Events SA, said: “We are excited to partner with a company with digital expertise at its heart and a leader in its field.

“In turn, we look forward to working closely together, using their huge network of properties in France and online strength, making it easier than ever for fans to fully enjoy their EURO 2016 experience this summer.”

Mariano Dima, chief marketing officer at HomeAway, said: “UEFA EURO 2016 will attract many fans to the tournament and we are thrilled to help accommodate everyone in France.”

With this deal, UEFA has completed national sponsorship programme, with the final global sponsor due to be announced in the coming weeks.
