Sun Life Seal NBA Sponsorship to Promote Brand in South East Asian Countries

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has entered into a multi-year marketing partnership with Sun Life Financial (Sun Life), there a leading international insurance company.

The partnership will promote Sun Life’s life insurance offerings in the Philippines, ailment Malaysia and Indonesia.

As a promotional partner of the NBA, medstore Sun Life will be involved with upcoming NBA events in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. The partnership will tip off with an NBA Cares event in Manila for children from Manila Boys Town Complex, an orphanage for homeless children and teenagers, on September 6.

Sun Life will also be integrated into the first-ever NBA Global Games Philippines 2013 between the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 10, 2013. Basketball is the number one sport in the Philippines and the NBA is the first U.S. professional sports league to stage a preseason game in the country.
