Sport1 Secures World RX Rights

Sport1 has secured rights for the World Rallycross Championship (World RX) motorsport series.
The German sports broadcaster will hold exclusive rights for the remainder of the 2018 season, as well as the 2019 campaign, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
It agreed the deal with World RX promoter, the IMG agency.
World RX Managing Director for IMG, Paul Bellamy, said of the deal: “For Sport1 to demonstrate such strong commitment to World RX is fantastic news for our fast-growing championship. The German market is very important to the series as well as those OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer’s) currently involved, and this new two-year agreement offers fans in the country even more opportunities to experience our hugely exciting sport.”
