Santos Extend SIL Shirt Sponsorship

Wire and cable manufacturer SIL has extended its shirt sponsorship deal with Brazilian football club Santos.

The new deal will cover the 2017 season, with SIL branding to adorn Santos shirt sleeves as part of the agreement.

SIL’s marketing manager Rodrigo Morelli said the company has targeted football sponsorship as the sport is watched by its own target audience.

Santos is one of Brazil’s highest profile clubs, with the likes of Pele, Carlos Alberto and Neymar having made their names in spells with the team.
